This girl can stand on stage and still command attention. Why all the fluff around her. I did not care for it in the clip and even less on stage. Look at her, listen to her ..if she would have stood on that stage alone with some kind if LED depiction of a Hurricane it would have been more of a comparison of how alone Israel is in the current state of affairs and it would truly resonate. Her beauty and voice really is enough of a staging. She does not need that much more.

I think this will win. It maybe does not seem like that with the esc community boycott but this song is massive and the boycott will only drive people towards it. On a personal note, I am from the US and have always watched Eurovision from a distance, enjoying the uniqueness of different music styles we do not get exposed to in the States. The name of the unit is Golani and it has the symbol of an olive tree. At that time that unit was on the borderline in the south so they lost a lot of people during that day. Israel should have been excluded this year with neutral words of explanation, because there really are circumstances that Israel has committed terrible crimes and we all see it and turn a blind eye to it, and at least show respect for all the victims of the war that is happening in that area, on both sides. If the EBU wanted to show neutrality, it should have done it this year. This is how they took the position that some civilians are really more important than others.
