Thanks for sharing the video. I did the same with xtool D7S. My question is after you copied the smart key, where would you go to copy the physical key ? I bought the smart key from Walmart as well.

I’m going to just run a secret wire to the battery so when if the battery dies I can just supply power and use the remote to get in and no need for to pay another $50 for a locksmith to cut the key.

Excellent video, thanks for sharing, I have a 2010 Dodge Journey, did OTOFIX D1 LITE work for you to program the FOB key of your Dodge truck?

The Otofix d1 lite did Not work for the dodge key, I had to use a scan tool for the dodge. With scan tools it is hit or miss.

I cannot for the life of me get this to work on my 2018 Tundra. I have bought both G AND H bladed keys and for both, I’ve got the the “Communication error occurred between the ecu and key” message. Any professional have any recommendations or suggestions?

Have you looked to see if this tool will give you Prius hybrid battery information?

I have tried many scan tools and they never allow for hybrid battery information. At least for my 2012 Prius c and 2016 Prius.

Did "autel" remove any of these features with updates? Remember reading they were removing all keys function for toyota aand the lost there lawsuit with mitchel and snap on so they where clawing back some features.

WhT is a different between smart code registration(classic) and smart code registration?.

I don’t know as I only used classic and if it works I don’t bother to ask questions. I think if you are making a key you need to hurry as they are trying to end diy keys as of December, lookup natsf license Some viewers are starting to see a notice on there scan tools that they need to register.
