This idol looks good, but I'm really not sure it beats the phaze 2 in useability for the average houseshot. New phaze 2 already hooks too much for my houseshot. Idk if I really need something even stronger like the idol or summit

You could always get one and drill it pin down to give you a different look.

I agree. The idol series rolls amazing for me but if you don’t have the oil it might last only through the first game. I like to be able to use the same ball as long as possible. I vote phaze 2

Idol was never intended for house honestly. The average house bowler not buying the original idol is the only reason it was discontinued to begin with.. if the house bowlers aren’t buying it, they won’t keep it in the line. Don’t see this one lasting a long while either.

The average house shot has tons of friction, so your best options are generally balls like the Attention Star, Xponent Pearl, Hustles, Hypeds...etc

13:13 9th frame, after the split I saw you opened your shoulders and took your hand out of it and it still saw it and went 4 pin. Even with the music, we both said, "Wooooow" at the same time. This ball is good. I've been with SPI for 10+ years now and thrown about 3 different OG idols... This one's different. #Shirt You've got some great content going, really well done reviews!
