Dear Mr Hendry I’ve been a fan of yours for over 2 decades, you changed the game like no other, you were the epitome of what a prolific break builder is, although im not a snooker a player, however I suffered from the same thing that you did, except it was for baseball and to be exact it was pitching, the infamous “yips” its annoying as hell, i was at the top of my game and i started caring subconsciously. Thats when the yips started happening, it lasted for a few years very psychological, I had a mental block however when I stopped caring my yips went away! And I know that you can overcome this also, im a average baseball player with a winning mentality and you are a champion with a even greater winning mentality! Snooker needs you! We need you please make a comeback! You are the only person that can beat Ronnie and make this rivalry fun again! Best regards your biggest fan Phil

Good lad Higgins, seen him around sheffield always smiley, not arrogant at all and loved going around the city for a pint and a curry. Doherty as well, 2 True gentleman of the sport. John Higgins You Still got t !!! i said it already i just knew John Higgins was always the man to beat this tough table challenge . Congrats John Higgins still able to produce the goods when it matters , Just totally incredible to have Judd in the background an old legend champion showing the upcoming champion he is still not done by a long way , so easily could have been a clear up or ton break if no distractions just do not see anyone topping that score 87 but this has to inspire other players to at least give it a valid effort . Absolutely Brilliant Video Stephen totally right up there with the best you have ever done liked and still subscribed leaves me wanting more its that good . cheers !

Realistically, the only player who could beat both Stephen Hendry or Ronnie O'Sullivan when they were playing at their very best... Perhaps the perfect game for professional snooker? Higgins had zeroed in on what was aggression and defense. People have come close, but at his peak Higgins could win with both his A & B game, something that's so hard to do in snooker...

Brilliant watch, Stephen. If you do read these or if john reads them, id love 5o catch up with John again some time. Used to play with him eve4y week in team matches and we used to play at the masters in Wishaw before we moved to glasgow. But it was too much for me because i worked late sometimes etc. So gave the game up. 33 years on and I've just picked the cue back up again. I remember John Muir still kept going through with John and Dennis Masterton. This was back in the day when John's dad run him everywhere. I remember when John won the world for the first time and they interviewed the woman from the masters in wishaw who btw didn't give either of us free time to play even when we were playing team games. Th3n me and John used to go play the puggy machine and i had to kid on it was me playing it because she used to shout over to John to get off it 😂😂😂😂. Introduced him to the cambusneathan miners guys and my dad because he still hadn't met him. But ive hon3tly not seen him in about 33 years. Would love a few frames again and grab a game of golf now and then. Some good memories playing against Alan McManus too who played out the Davis club in Hamilton... Ian Nicol from Lanark at the time. Cheers.
