Great update! New rakes will start arriving late this year. Idk why isn't Metro Railways expediting the land acquisition for the Newtown metro depot, as without the depot metros will realistically be able to run only from New Garia to Sector 5.

Land acquisition ho gaya hai bro. Rvnl ne around 35 acre land lia hai in jagadishpur. Metro dept has verified. Please check kar lena!

If you walk straight towards the end of this road , ek pool ata hai. Uske oppostibe me you will see leveling ke liye soil dumping has dtarted and site has been marked by RVNL , borders of the depot. Same chiz you can see if you to the road beside the society of Malancha. Similar low loading bridge is there for now, with borders of the site earmarked. Its a huge parcel of land. Press release was not done to evade the obvious problems with land acquisition in the state, I think.

Read an article in either telegraph or TOI, today or yesterday, that they are planning to open Airport to Haldiram 2.6km by Dec 2024, and not just trial but regular services. Said by Mr. Reddy himself! How is it possible with the Haldiram station no where in picture? Can be considered as Just lecture bazi?

Not a all possible as it will take atleast one year to construct VIP Road Metro Station and also it's not economically justified to open a stretch for one station.
