Tbh this deck just needs 1 card starters. A searcher that also gives them an extra normal summon. The end board is still good in todays game. Maybe a easier summonable negate. Look at branded chimera. Negate, targeting protection and pops/draw in guardian chimera. If that end board is still threatening so is the endboard of ritual beast. It always had a problem starting, once it gets going it’s fine. However it doesn’t have that many easy summonable bodies over 3 k so that could also be an issue as a lot of monsters have destruction protection but still it’s pretty good and you can’t really target them as they just tag out. It’s also not really true back then we had just as many hand traps then as we do now mostly outside of the ghost girls and impermanence. The game didn’t have as much generic negates though. Baronne, savage dragon, appolousa weren’t out then. A loop of non targeting pop 4-8 cards because it wasn’t in once per turn is nuts still. Lots of decks don’t have answers to back row in archetype that still see play today. That’s why cards like knightmare Phoenix is played, or azalea or donner.

Man, I remember back when they were full power and I mained them in some tournaments......I felt the pain of my opponent having to sit through the ulti-Cannahawk loop lol. Their issue now they would have to address is monster recovery if you get Niberu'd or field wiped. Will say though.....Bond was never used for opponent turn contact fusing lol. It was for battlephase OTKing / Dodging removal

I have controlled the numbers about the reprints. Since Ice Barrier has 49 cards, and between the 49 and Infernoid are present 46 numbers, we have to immaginate that we obtaining a 42 reprint archetype with 4 new cards. After Infernoid, after the 23 reprints, we have 24 numbers, in other words 20 reprints and 4 new cards. Based on this theory, i have control the numbers of the Duel Terminal relative decks. Actually, for the 46 cards archetype i have found only 2 decks with exactly 42 cards: Lswarm (with the addition on Steelswarm, Evilswarm and Infestation cards) and Genex. For the archetype with 24 cards, with 20 reprints, the only Nekroz. So i have to assume that the second is effectively Nekroz. For the first, well, i have to say probably Lswarm: this because Lswarm was under competitive spotlights in the Dragon Ruler format (if i don't remember bad), also since we have to obtain some alternative artwork it is more indicated respect to Genex (i mean, which Genex card is enough famous for deserve some alternative artwork?). So, if i am right, no Ritual Beasts, sorry

@@mynameisari1 Are you sure about that? It's Lara, yes, but not is revealed if is effectively a Ritual Beast: the centered image not show mounts. Remember that in Duel Terminal lore some monsters change factions, so we cannot see that is Ritual Beast until we haven't a real confirm

both monsters better have something when specialed as well. it would be insane if beast dusters when special'd like imagine you can use it on their turn thanks to contact fusion mechanics

Probably ulti rampengu, a spell, and 2 new monsters.... I'm personally hoping for a searching field spell and 2 spiritual beast tamers to make opening hands more consistent. The issue with the deck is 1. Bad hands happen a lot. 2. The deck dies to a single hand trap (really any hand trap)

I played rit beasts a lot back in the day and everything you said is spot on. The play style was to tag out your fusions and pop with the trap and that type of end board wouldn’t work in todays game. It definitely needs interruptions or an easier way to gaipelo and needs consistency monsters, all having the “spiritual beast tamer” name to help with summoning mechanics. Honestly been waiting for the day komoney decides to print support.

Sadly if you summon Gaiapelio with Winda, it won't gain the negate effect, but at least you got a huge 3200 ATK beater.

To follow the concept they need a beast to banish from field, since every other beast banishes from a different place. That beast should actually be Rock Type (it fits with Aqua, Pyro und Thunder; rampengu is Standing Out a Bit with beast Type). The bansih from field effect has to be very powerfull. Then we need a new tamer and Fusion for that beast. Actually a tamer Special summon from Deck (since every other tamer is summoning from a different place), but winda actually kinda got that Part already...although you could argue that winda is the Summoner from extra Deck and a new tamer could summon from Main Deck. Maybe they get a search spell or even crazier: a spell to "Fusion" Out of Deck via banishing the Materials I also think of a counter trap and a field spell

I'm a big fan of gusto's so when I see they made ritual beast witch are descendants of gusto I loved them too. So what I'd like to see is "spiritual beast Falco" a level 2 tuner that can fusion or synchro for gusto or RB from deck

The link 4 is too easy to summon you can set up your turn with rampengu dump and banish a ritual beast monster with the same type follow it up with apelo to banish the link 4 you sent to the grave and use the new fusion card to ss it from the banish zone in your opponent turn this have nothing to do with bonds. You can combo thst off with the new lara ans trigger her effect from being banish which is very nice i must say

I like the idea of a field spell or continuous. Maybe something like a tenki specific for ritual beasts, that can grant you an extra normal summon of a ritual beast?

@RawrItsJuul In 4 cards I'd give Ritual Beast: A Tamer that Special Summons from Deck A Beast that Special Summons (or Normal Summons) itself from the hand, and when a Ritual Beats Fusion is Summoned, it adds itself back to hand(let's you fuel Gaiapelio) A field spell that searches a Ritual Beasts, and when a Ritual Beast monster returns to the Extra Deck, you remove(destroy, return to hand, banish, shuffle into Deck. Whatever they want) a card your opponent controls. -Spell/Trap Negate they can search to protect them from things like DRNM. I think bringing in Wynn and Ranryu would be really cool since canonically Wynn and Winda are sisters, so it'd be cool

I really really hope these new cards will be good cuz I’ve always wanted to play ritual beast but didn’t feel it was powerful enough to sink money into. Also, because of genex insane cards I think 4 cards could definatly be enough for the RB deck

Give it a Contious Spell that specials a banished RB while being a searcher when activated for the first time and protection at the cost of sending it to the gy. Giving it a way for another SS should be enough.

A searcher spell that can banish itself from grave to enable another normal summon would be VERY good for the deck, solves some consistency issues, extends, and can be another Target for Cannahawk’s effect. It only needs two lines of text to Greatly help the deck. That being said the deck will still need more. But I believe if they gave the deck some cards with effects that trigger in grave or when banished. They have a chance at relevancy again.

Also a really cool and flavorful Main deck monster with a crazy powerful effect could be a Spiritual Beast that could banish itself and your other Ritual beast monsters on field to non-target banish the same amount of cards from your opponents field as an on special summon trigger or quick effect

With Ulti Can the “them” ruling just means as long as 1 of the targets hits where it needs to be the eff will go off although if it just said those targets then it’ll require all targets hit the desired location
