I find them to be kinda similar. Like similar sound difference, idk how to say it. But if u say a korean word in an english accemt then ur saying it wrong but if u say it in a swedish accent then u are probably quite correct 🙃
@sugoish94613 ай бұрын
@@pelleonore1795 That's interesting! I find somehow that pronouncing Japanese words feels easier as a Swede, compared to what I've seen of English friends and people online. It just feels like the vowels and consonants are more "basic" and similar in that basicness, meanwhile eg. English and French have a lot of "flourish" to their "basic" sounds, which is very pretty, but likely harder to undo? I should ask my sibling, he studies 8 languages and has taken courses specifically on general language-learning, so he'd probably be able to know the right fancy words for pronunciation differences!
@mnjk15583 ай бұрын
Finnish should be quite easy to pronounce for Koreans because we have words that sounds pretty much exactly the same as Korean words, but means different things. Also we have double letters just like in Korean language 😅 For example: In Korean "문" (mun) means "door". In spoken Finnish "mun" means "my or mine". Also there's "수까" (sukka), which means "to stir or mix". In Finnish "sukka" is "a sock". Also we pronounce things as they're written down. There's no silent letters or anything unnecessary, so it's easy as long as you know how to pronounce the letters in Finnish way 😎
@butterflies6553 ай бұрын
Double letters appear in European countries as well. The Korean language is completely different to finnish.

Wait, what? I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know. Korean should be easy then, I guess...
@kpt0023 ай бұрын
@@butterflies655 We are talking about pronunciation here, not the vocabulary. Structurally Korean is NOT totally different from Finnish, because they are both agglutative languages. So Finnish and Korean are structurally closer to each other than Finnish is with Germanic, Slavic or Latin languages.
@vaenii50563 ай бұрын
@@kpt002 That is quite a stretch. Basically all languages fall morphologically in one of the four categories - agglutinative synthetic languages, fusional synthetic languages, analytic languages and isolating languages. Having similar morphology does not mean the languages are close to each other. In fact the morphology of languages tends to drift over time in that order - from agglutinative to fusional, nothing makes sense anymore, so the word-to-morpheme ratio starts to decline and you end up with analytic language, then isolating, then things get boring and you start drifting towards agglutination and so on. For example English and Danish are analytic languages but German and Icelandic are fusional languages. On the other hand Hmong is analytic language and Arabic is fusional language. However you would never claim that English is closer to Hmong than German or that German is closer to Arabic than English.

As a Swede, the Norwegian singing sounded I think alright too?! Even though it got so long and confusing I think he only missed a word that didn't change the meaning of the sentence? He didn't give up towards the end of the long sentence, either, even though he was clearly laughing shyly about his attempt at that point and I personally probably would have given up or forgot some syllables by then!

I'm sorry, but did they say that Black Cat Nero was originally a _Danish_ song??? As far as I know, the song used to be an old Italian children's song from like the 1960's, that Turbo did a korean remake of back when they were first active (so, like, the 1990's). And later on ATEEZ also did a remake of the Turbo version, and later on another version together with Kim Jongkook of Turbo since it was made for his Immortal Song episode. I tried searching up the origin, but that's as far as I could find with a quick google search.

Directly translated: You're the reason I believe in love is : Du är anledningen till att jag tror på kärlek. She forgot the reason part. She said : Du får mig att tro på kärlek , is a simpler version. Translated : You make me believe in love. I guess its kind off the same anyway Very good singing by the way

Yeah she stylized it to fit easier! I'd probably have said "Du är varför jag tror på kärlek" ("You are why I believe in love") as saying the word for "the reason" is 4 syllables in swedish 😅 "anledningen" (an-le-dning-en)
