Even the “classic” shield is also really good because after a parry you are invulnerable and the counter attack always stun

The starting gear is a solid set. It’s the main gear I use but I always have a strength build

I think the best thing about the starting gear is that you can go either way with the enchantments depending on what you want and your playstyle

You could use Sigil Arrows to trigger the Vanaheim enchantments more often. One thing I Love to do is to focus on Vaporize Frost and Extinguish Flames with this build The 200 luck on that Vanaheim with this playstyle is a lot of fun! Plus if you do the triangle attacks they will do more damage with those Asgard enchantments and that 200 cooldown they get of bonus damage All in all you do some pretty good damage for the basic set I the game

The reason why I am slowly drifting away from Sigil arrow is because that status effect gets overwritten by the other ones so fast that I barely see the benefit before it is gone While the sonic status remains even if enemies are frosted or Burned

The Survival Armor should be perfect for any type of player, it is so perfectly balanced. I used the Amulets to increase stats that fit my game style. I used the Survival armor for most of the game on No Mercy and GMGOW, the only time I had to swap it out was against the King and GNA. Anyways, I've watched quite a few of your videos so I figure might as well subscribe. LOL.

What armor did you use for them

@@JLTOMATOES Spirit Chest, Undying for wrist and waist. The King was the most difficult for me, I tried different combinations of armor, amulets, weapons till I found the one that beat the King with. GNA was easier mostly because of the hilt you acquire after beating the king, that hilt does a nice amount of damage and basically immobilizes GNA for the duration.

I also think that if you can get the hang of the combat using this armor, you should have no trouble once you start benefitting from all the buffs and the more damaging builds And Welcome to the channel, you were heretofore taking sneak peeks

Its cool that all the starting equipment you have (armor, sheild rond, and weapon handles) gets stat bonuses when you fully upgrade them.

You should check out the starting gear stats in NG+. They give you soooo much more and you can make pretty much any build work

Played on medium because one of the beserkers was just too much, but this was the set that I used to beat gna with on said difficulty.

The Berserker which uses Lightning Was actually the first one to piss me off since he introduced running Away 😠 But I think The Normal build could get you anywhere since it is balanced. At the time I was still using the poison build with almost no Vitality

It is not a bug 😓 The thing is, after you fill a boss’ Stun bar, the damage you deal afterwards is somehow nerfed and then it goes back to normal again. Thats definitely why the hits didn’t do much
