I think Zubimendi is genuinely the final piece that they're looking at for this current side. Even in the preseason they'd played Gravenberch in some points at the pivot which tells me even when they had confidence that they were getting Zubimendi, the plan to place Gravenberch there was already in place. The key difference in having the two of them is that Gravenberch is a lot more active in possession in terms of movement and rarely starts the play without taking a few strides first and his value is incredibly high in carrying the ball forward, whereas Zubimendi is a lot more stationary and can release the ball from further away and creates more available options in the midfield. With how Gravenberch is being used right now he usually receives the ball in and around the center of the pitch and drives it forward to usually right before the final third. Having Zubimendi means Ryan can now start that run from further forward and instead of stopping at near the final third he can be crashing the box, or switching the play with an overload. I just think they very much massively complement each other's playstyles. Only caveat here(if you wanna call it that) is that final midfield spot is gonna be pretty hotly contested if Zubimendi does end up coming here, because I'd be pretty surprised if he and Gravenberch don't end up as the starting double pivot moving forward if he does.

Sometimes controling the game isnt having more possession, its about not looking like conceding, and i felt with Klopp we shouldve sacrificed some of the ball possesion to look better defensively.

Big up RedMen. For a Cb i personally would go for Hincapie from Leverkusen. 6Ft, Strong. Can cover two positions. Imagine him learning from VVD for the next two years (hoping he extends for atleast that). If Kellehr can improve while training with Allison, Konate can while training with VVD, don't see a reason why he can't. Same for Marmoush. Learning from The King for the next 2 seasons. Would be a better backup than "No knees" Kieza!!!

We have to lucky with the injuries, for example is something is happening to Salah we are fucked, Jota is injury prone, gapko is actually our second striker after Salah. Nunez is hot and cold, you never know when he can score. The only one who can guarantee goals is Salah, the other just score because the team is working well.
