One of the great things about this podcast is that it often reminds me how easy it is to misjudge a player or manager based on my own allegiance or how they come across on a match day. I never used to like Ainsworth, but I thought he was brilliant here.

Kttink is 100% correct, it is indeed spelt vexed with just the one x. I'd suggest you double check this .. very silly to correct a spelling that was right. Different to 'vaxxed' ..

Perpetrator of the worst challenge I've ever seen on a football field. Ended the career of Dane Whitehouse. Dane stated recently that Ainsworth has never apologised. Maybe Dane's dog ate the letter Ainsworth allegedly sent.

His band used to play in the Brookhouse, being from Northolt all my mates were QPR fans so got dragged along to listen to them. They still go on about the Ibiza Cup win as well 😂

Seems a really good bloke i didnt rate him at QPR but what he did at wycombe was unreal . If i remember right one of my first ever games was Sheffield Wednesday 1 Vs 3 QPR and qpr went on to win the 03-04 division 2 title ?🦉

@@npc-np7dc I remember there were about 7k QPR and I remember Paul furlong and I think Marc bircham scored I was only about 10 then but only seen the away end totally full like that when QPR came and Sheffield united back in 06. But what a team QPR were in div 2 that year

Good manager/ player . People take the piss way he acts and looks. he’s done well as a manager with wycombe . Stepped up obviously wasn’t to be but he knows the level he can be at but sounds like decent bloke. Fair play to him had good career and can still manage at decent level with right players

It's also the way this animal ended Dane's career. Full force, studs showing, knee high assault from the side. No-one goes in to win a ball like that. Totally intentional. It's 27 years on and he still hasn't been man enough to go and see Dane. Ainsworth is trash.

Seems a nice guy, but it's hard not to agree with the comments re Whitehouse. It's baffling why he didn't go and see him, or at least ensure that received a letter/call. He owns that to be fair to him, and you'd like to think that he'd do it differently if he had the chance. Enjoyed this one

Stop crying. We'd been in the top 6 all season apart from what turned out to be the final weekend of fixtures, when we didn't have a game. We'd been due to play Bury, but they had been kicked out of the league. No-one came up with a better plan than points-per-game, and that's what the majority of other clubs voted for. More fair than Wycombe missing out because another club had one more point because of getting to play one more game.

Fantastic winger. Remember hearing he might have been eligible for Scotland back in the day. 100% should have call up if so. Terrible Scotland team in the early 2000s and he was an absolute nightmare for full backs.
