Maxwell understands that Humans are more comfortable when hearing what they recognise as coherent words when they can actually hear them, Maxwell however is incapable of actually speaking so does the next best thing using what you recognise as speech from a Cat while telepathically speaking to you in a way you actually understand, I've had many Cats over the years you tend to just pick it up at some point, just wait until your comfortable without the need for vocalisations!
