The Michigan Wolverines enter the 2024 season with a familiar structure, but unfamiliar personnel. Is Sherrone Moore's team ready to make it to the College Football Playoff for the 4th consecutive season? Are Alex Orji or Davis Warren a viable option for Michigan to win 10 games? Big Ten Ted breaks it all down!

People keep asking Michigan to be like these other teams. When other teams are trying to be like Michigan 😂. Michigan is not predicated on the deep pass just make the completion and run the ball 🏈 that's all you need . But when you add orji into it it's a whole different kind of hell to deal with. We didn't need JJ to throw deep that many times. Whatever orji lacks in accuracy he will more than make up with his legs he will also open up the running game for the running backs. And by the way orgy through 72 percent in the spring game when I was just begging for 65%. People are mesmerized by flash but in reality terrified of a real fight. Michigan will be a damn fool not to try to use orji . Now try to stop Donovan an orji in a rpo situation orji good luck with that. Michigan system doesn't dictate that we need an All-Pro quarterback. And as far as team stacking the box. Remember what happened to Ohio State when they ran cover zero. You may stuff the run three times in a row but the one time you miss a tackle it's a touchdown. When you stack the line it's either extreme success or extreme failure ‼️

The defense is probably the best in college football. Defense wins championships so that alone will win Michigan eight or nine games. But if they're gonna win more than that, it will depend on the offense, and I don't see Orji as the guy that can do that. Orji is a thrower. He's not a passer. However, if Orji can improve his accuracy beyond 20 yards, then the Michigan offense becomes dangerous.

I did 2 live streams after taking a significant break and next to nobody showed up/watched it live. When I put out a poll saying what content people wanted, less than 10% said they wanted live streams and it was the lowest voted option. Not saying I will never do a live stream again, but I'm citing the lack of demand for live content in my bubble. I'm looking forward to a project I'm working on this summer that could be a hybrid of the 2. Appreciate you! Stay Tuned!

'25 Big18 cfb note: yeah, '24 Ucla cfb will be bad. '25 Bruins just landed true frosh transfer-in QB Davis, originally hand-picked by DeBoer to be heir apparent at qb to PenixJr at Wash. HC Foster? Already building momentum toward an improved '25 Ucla fb roster.

It’s comical how many people are ignoring the fact that most of the Michigan team got significant reps in blowouts last season. Did they lose a lot of starters 100%, are they a rookie roster now not even close.

Under-the-radar '24 Big18 cfb storyline: after @Moore's ascension to UM hc, the elite-tier of 2024 Big18 cfb OL coaches includes, but isn’t limited to: Trautwein, PSU, Callahan, Minn., Castillo, Ucla, and MichSt's Michalczik ("coach Chick," for the linguistically impaired). "Coach Chick's" '24 MichSt OL is not talent-laden but NFL scouts & GMs have long respected "coach Chick's" work (many OLmen to the NFL, eg, Fuaga from '24 NFL draft). With Moore no longer being UM's full-time OL coach, it is ez to make a strong case that MichSt now has the top OL coach in Big18 cfb. #Surprise

Underrated '24 & '25 b1g cfb storyline: '24 Ucla has ex-NFL legend Bieniemy, as OC, & a new OL coach (only a tick below Mich'St's amazing new OL coach, expertise-wise), who arrives at Westwood after directing 1 of top NFL OLs (Philadelphia Eagles). With 2 younger, dynamic offensive coaches,(@hcFoster & @GenX OL coach Castillo [not old], Ucla's staff is similar to Mich's(@Moore) & Purdue's(@Walters) - all built to relate well w Zillenial cfb prospects (Millenial 'crucial'). Very strong Ucla coaches room: 2 outstanding younger coaches, paired w an NFL legend at OC. Too underrated, will be ignored bc '24 Ucla will lose a lot of games. Imo '25 Ucla will make a jump, improvement-wise.

The offense line will be okay although many of them didn't start most of them have a lot of playing experience remember they was blowing out teams last year by the third quarter so those backup players played some of the third quarters and all of the fourth quarters. Why are people kept talking about Davis Warren he will be the third string Qb Tuttle will be the backup to Alex. What kills me people keep thinking Alex can't throw the football if he couldn't It he would not be playing Qb at the college level. They said the same thing about Jalen Milrose look what he turned out to be. All Michigan has to do if he makes mistakes coach him up because he has all the tools to be a great Qb. And that's shouldn't be a problem since we quote develop are players.

It's not quite to that level on offense. As I said in the video... think 2016 or 2021 Michigan.

The biggest unknown for Michigan is Coach Moore. I understand that he filled in well last season but Jim Harbaugh’s culture was still in place. Look at Mark Helfrich after Chip Kelly left. I think they will make the play off, but with 2, maybe 3 loses. I believe they will fall in round one of the playoff.

If they lose to Texas, ohio st, and Oregon their three hardest opponents they for sure won't be in playoffs!

@@brettk9316 you know, I was thinking the same, but I watched Gregg McElroy lay out how teams with 3 losses can still get in, especially ones who get extra consideration for being the defending National Champions.

The quarterback reminds me of the guy who you said was a great quarterback and in the perfect situation last year at this time, yes the great Nebraska “quarterback” Sims, I commented saying he was a quarterback who couldn’t throw and he wouldn’t last but a few games , all I got was “crickets” and look what he accomplished 🤔 now you’re saying the same about this Michigan fake quarterback / linebacker who’s going to balance the team to the top, not happening and they’ll be on their third quarterback when Minnesota visits after USC punks this team at home.

That's not how the Michigan offense works. The QB doesn't have to "carry" the team. J.J. only had to complete 10 passes in the national championship game. They ran it 32 straight times to close out Penn State. Michigan just loves to #smash.

My gut is telling me there may be some games this year where QB will need to make plays with defenses selling out on the run game. Everybody complains about that 4th quarter vs Penn State, I thought it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen on a football field.
