I remember one year when I was a kid, we were listening to the MSU radio broadcast, and he pointed out specific plays where the announcers were complaining. Later he woke me up because sports center was showing replays of the game, and he pointed out the exact plays and explained how the announcers were full of BS!

Dude became a billionaire in the mortgage business but still talks about how he was on the national championship MSU basketball team (he played a total of like 12 minutes that year). He became OBSESSED with Dan Gilbert's Rocket Mortgage in Detroit. Dude would be handing out pamphlets trying to steal workers (side note, UWM is a sweatshop that can't keep workers because they abuse them), had rallies where he'd have his employees chant about how much they hate Rocket, etc. So Rocket Mortgage got petty and went to the Spartan Basketball team and sponsored them so he had to hear their name every time he watched MSU basketball.

He’s not producing like he was last year, same even with Corum. Teams just don’t have enough on film to prep for the way we are playing this year. They have a bunch of 2021/2022 footage of us slamming the middle… so that’s what they are prepping for. It basically turns us into the team we were vs OSU 2022. By mid-3rd, we don’t need our starters anymore, so our running game continues to look underwhelming compared to last year… it’s there. No one needs to see it… yet.

If I were an Msu fan listening to that while seeing what they 'saw' I'd have been breaking things in rage. I know Brandstatter was awkward to listen to but Blaha is just downright bad at his job when he sees what he doesn't want to see on the field. In their game against Washington I could hear the Spartan fans groan on the radio so I knew UW had scored and it took Blaha like 5-7 seconds to actually get to the point to tell the listeners what happened.

For as good as Blaha was calling Pistons games back in the day on TV, he is awful on radio. The few times I've tuned in to a MSU game to listen to them lose while out its always like this. Such a crybaby and also just technically bad. Calls the game like a TV guy and doesn't describe hardly anything. As seen here, half the plays he doesn't even say what happened until it's over.
