I know Minato is a good guy but sometimes I'm more biased towards Shin. I mean he's so sincere and clear with his feelings. He knows what he wants. Minato is complicated. I think Shin deserved to be loved more.

literally. minato makes me so mad bc he won’t communicate with shin properly and it makes shin feel unloved. this shouldn’t be a “ i don’t want my crush to know i like him “ situation it should be a “ i love my boyfriend so much and i wanna tell him all the time “ situation. i won’t be surprised if shin ends up leaving

If he was younger, maybe that makes more sense 😂

Minato loves Shin very much. We just don't see his point of view (besides thinking that Shin is hot in the first meeting). Shin is honest, but he is a teenager who thinks love is a fairytale... He loved Minato because he saved him, but he didn't know much more about him... Minato gives him time so that they start to know each other, and he's still able to follow his dream... Teenagers are often willing to do everything for love just to realise that they would have actually done something other later. Minato waited, so Shin and him had the same feelings about kissing and so on. He didn't give in to his lust and gave Shin some fake security and something you can get addicted to. He made sure that they could be happy together for their rest of their live at the end of the series even though a about 10 year age gap was between them... 😅 He also faced his past instead of forgetting it 😊

@sarahbarenstark9953 this is one of the matured comment I've seen so far. as a person on 30s, I truly see Minato's point of view, he is an adult with traumatic experience about love, if you watch again the series you will see that he did everything to make Shin happy (although I had to admit I hate it when he dodged and swatted Shin when showing affection, for that I feel sorry for Shin). teenagers still have strong emotions and will give everything for love without thinking other factors, while Minato made sure that before doing the thing (the thing that Shin keeps implying in the series - hug is not enough) Minato wanted them to know each other more first and be on the same level of emotion, you will understand Minato's side if you rewatch and analyze everything that he did and the letter he made for Shin. I am not bias for Minato or Shin, I love them both and they have a fair share of misunderstanding. Shin is too rush with his emotion and wanted to go to the next level without considering Minato's feelings (Asuka even reacted and commented about it). Minato is unable to express his true feelings which is sooooo frustrating, he could be more honest to Shin. but without all those conflicts and misunderstandings, there will be no story at all 😅
