This map is a bit easier now with the sluices and overhangs, you can build tall reservoirs and multi-level platforms for everything you need to get all the monuments built. Only real issue with this map is the limited room for trees means there is a lot of waiting around for logs.
I already watched all these individual episodes but I've been working from home since 2020 and long videos like these are perfect to play in the background while I work. Thanks!

Quick tip regarding reforestation in the early game. If you exclude some trees from your cutting area, those trees will cause new trees to grow in place of the ones you felled. The only drawback is you have to manually send builders to take care of the stump left by the loggers in order for a new tree to grow there. This way you don't have to hurry to unlock the forester or die.

Oaks are absolutely the best for long-term wood production, especially when space is an issue. Birch takes 9 days per log, pine are faster at 6 days per log, but oaks take only 3.75 days per log! They have a long lead time, but are by far the best after the first planting matures.

how would you add/play multiplayer in this game? I mean, what kind of game mode would you want out of that?
@anthonydoyle723 ай бұрын
@@maskharat could do a vs or coop. people could control different settlements and fight/share resources
@maskharat3 ай бұрын
@@anthonydoyle72 honestly with the game as it is I don't see that working. that would basically need a complete rework. For example fast forwarding/pausing in coop/multiplayer is a no go. One wants/needs to pause to do/save things, one wants to fast forward to wait out what's been planned. Would be a rather... exhausting... experience. Against each other. Trying to fight for resources. That could work, but that would also need a whole rework of how the game works. And they'd need to kinda completely redo the game for for networked gameplay, also needing to pay for servers or do easy to cheat p2p connections. I wouldn't get my hopes up for Multiplayer.
