Don’t deny the foundational truth that by Faith we are justified, not by works, and that is what I see in all his videos on this channel of defending this truth. Romans 3,4,5,6,7, we uphold the law, we should not serve sin no longer but be servants of righteousness, but we still battle the sin in our members. We aren’t perfect and your faith is dead when you yield your body to sin rather than righteousness. We should no longer walk in the flesh to fulfill the desires of the flesh but walk in the Spirit. I don’t know why you post a one verse response to somehow prove me wrong in my comment like by the grace which is given to us that our faith isn’t enough? Actually, if you look in a Greek concordance, the word translated as "Book" in Revelation 22:19 is xylou and it literally means tree. So, if you take anything away from the words in the book your portion in the tree of life will be taken away. Either way, it is NOT a good thing.

The names in the Book of Life are written from the foundation of the world (Rev 17:18). God always knew who would be saved (Acts 17:26-27, Psalm 139). This is further assurance of eternal security. There are two books: Book of the living (Psalm 69:28), this one appears in the OT, concerning physical life. Book of life (Rev 3:5), appears mainly in book of Revelation, concerning about spiritual life. The names in the Book of Life are those born again, spiritual life, born of the Spirit (John 3:6, Eph 2:1), whose names God already knew from the foundation of the world (Rev 17:18). Who has (spiritual)Life? Those who are redeemed in Christ. John 14:6, 1Cor 15:22.

The issue is that many misunderstand what it means to be a "believer" of Jesus. Many view it as a simple acceptance that he is who he is & did as he did, having a shallow belief, much like a kid saying they believe in the Easter Bunny in order to get an Easter basket........If one truly "believes" in Jesus (in God), then they will lay down their life & do as he says, he being the teacher, the shepherd, we being the students, the sheep........So many have empty belief in him, but they are not necessarily saved, they aren't following him. Many who believe they are saved are really followers of the enemy & of their own ways when you look closely.

@@samirpernell2136 Paul is the one who began speaking of grace, but he also went on to speak of the need for people's lives to reflect their relationship with Jesus. Jesus said not everyone who believed in him & even prophesied of him would be saved. He said there will be some whom he will have to tell that he never really knew them & to depart from him, for they did not do the will of his father. I understand, sometimes we don't like the idea of having to change, giving up our own ways, but it's always been about seeking redemption with him, doing his will, following his guidance, unlike our ancestors Adam & Eve who chose to go against his guidance & led us into this fallen world, away from him & the tree of life. I didn't like the changes he put me through, giving things up & changing my ways was difficult, but it's doable. We're really not so different than the Israelites who he brought out of Egypt & broke them free of the ways they had learned in the land of Egypt & made them his people who followed his guidance.

The authors of modern "bibles" constantly omit and add words to make it easier to affirm their satanic works-salvationism. A good example of this is 1 John 3:9. KJV: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. These verses in 1 John are about being born again in the spirit, and the spirit cannot sin. It's that easy to understand. It's no coincidence Scribes are mentioned alongside Pharisees as wicked sons of the devil. The Scribe creates fake scripture and the Pharisee preaches from it.

It does not lead to determinism or fatalism because God knows who would freely have faith in Christ. Our understanding is limited by time and space, but the points you made need to be considered from an eternal perspective-a concept we cannot fully grasp due to our finite nature. To overcome means to endure to the end in Christ Jesus. To die the first death faithful to God and thus in God's grace. The limit of God's grace is up to God. He knows the heart. However we should not take salvation lightly nor in any way abuse the grace of God which was so hard won for us. Reading the Bible; adhering to it in full rather than in partiality seems the wise thing to do. To learn and do what Jesus himself says to do and do them as well as we are able. To seek not to do the least which is only to believe but to please God by keeping his commandments as well as we are able, repenting and doing better as we are able. To put him first. Daily prayer, daily reading of the word of God, daily keeping of his commandments; all of this helps us be closer to him. God helps his children very much. We just have to learn to trust him and lean on him and grow in him. To choose him every day. To endure to the end.

Hi Onorato, There are only a few verses in the bible that I truly don't understand, and Rev. 22:17-19 in one. I agree that it is for the unbelievers because verse 17 says we are there saying with the spirit "come". My confusion is why would we be telling unbelievers to "come" because we are all in the new heaven and earth already because chapter 22 describes it, and the unbelievers are already in hell. Why would we care about verse 18 and 19 if it is not for us, and the unbelievers can't change their minds once they are in hell. The only thing I can see is if it means in the presence tense we are saying to unbelievers not to add or take away from this book of prophecy. God Bless,

Hey! I was trying to make notes in my Bible as you were talking, and I discovered that while KJV uses "Book of Life", it appears that the Greek word actually is "tree" of life. (My version, BSB, says "tree" as do almost all other translations besides KJV.) I think your overall point is sound, but it seems the verse is not referring to the Book of Life. Mat 24:20 says salvation will come to many after the millennium and on the Day of Judgment. By reading every knee will bow (Ro 14:11, Php 2:10) we find that every person is going to be saved by the end of the Day of Judgment. That end is still about 2,500+ years away. When this dispensation of grace ends and the church is taken up and removed from the earth, the kingdom gospel will be preached again like it was in the early church and once again those who receive Jesus Christ by faith, and are obedient to his kingdom covenant principles and walk in the perfect way of God, even if their walk in that perfect way is imperfect, they will have God's promise to keep them preserved alive until the day of resurrection and redemption. Even if in this life they are persecuted, even martyred and killed for their testimony and bold courageous faith.

This is nonsense, the book of Revelation is directed to the Seven Churches, much of the warnings is for the Church to repent of her sins before Christ Jesus. Note that 5 out 7 Churches were told to repent and it is those who conquered in their obedience to Christ, those who are not prepared to put their hand to the plough is not fit for the kingdom of God. Those teachers and preachers who present a different gospel are accused (Galatians 1), if you hold to a teaching invented by men after the Apostles then you are preaching heresy and apostasy. This is why Reformed theology has a history that is empty and illegitimate of Apostolic teachings of the first 300 years of the Church.

When Jesus said the Father is greater, it's because Jesus was obedient to the Father (Phil 2:6-8). Also, Jesus has a human nature when he says the Father is greater (John 1:14, Heb 2:14) The Son speaking to the Father, supports the doctrine of the Trinity, because you have 2 persons (3 with the Holy Ghost) in unity as one God. And, of course, Jesus is God (John 1:1, 14; Col 2:9, Heb 1:8). Read also John 10:30-36. When Jesus says He is one with the Father, then the Jews tried to kill him because they understood that meant to be God. I don't t like to give comparisons because they fail at some extent...if you say you are the son of your physical father, therefore it is implicit you are human. You are not your father, yet you are equally human as your father.
