Tiny home rentals are a thing but I think you mean that you want more multi lots. You can kind of have a restaurant with home chef hustle but it does suck that you can't have a business on a lot and a home

You actually can have a business and live on the same lot. LittleMissSam has a mod for it, unless you don’t play on PC. There’s still a work around to this kinda thing.

Besides the littlemssam mod, you can actually do this in game. Just set up a store with an apartment on top…set it as the shop type you want, move your sim in to a Residential lot with no house and then have them travel over the store and never go back to the empty lot. You can pay bills on the computer if they occur. The only hiccup is if you have a baby, the bassinet bound newborn will go to the empty lot (your official home). But age them up to infant quick and you can do what you want and raise them at your at-home bussiness.

Sorry for the silly question, but how do you get tiny home rentals? Like Karla, I've been thinking lately that it would be great if you could have one or multiple tiny homes on a residential-rental lot and still get the tiny- or micro-home skill boosts while you're renting, but I thought you could only choose one lot type at a time. As far as I'm aware, you have to select either residential rental or tiny home; is there a way to enable both at once?
