All this cats are the Maneki-neko, is a Japanese kitty, is like a galico cat. It's a lucky's cat. Dango🍡 is a Japanese dessert, is like rice balls in a stick. The strawberry🍓 mochi kitty with down ears is a tipe of Japanese kitty, Scottish Fold, very popular in Japan. Some of the desserts, maybe all, looks like popular Japanese desserts: the Dango🍡, the strawberry🍓 mochi, the strawberry cake🍰, "baumukūhen" cake (German origin, very popular in Japan) the jelly, the donnas🍩, the bubble tea, etc. I think that all this collection is Japanese inspired 😀

The "strawberry mochi" seems to be strawberry daifuku, a traditional Japanese treat. That would make the dark layer red bean paste, not chocolate. "Dango" is a mochi balls on a stick, in this case probably in three different flavours (I'd guess macha, plain and strawberry or sakura).

Yeah that's daifuku. Also, dango is often covered in sweet syrup. Both are delicious.

Mochi is pounded rice until it becomes a dough like consistency. The white outer layer on the choco-strawberry is the mochi.

I love these but I feel some of the accessories would have been best if attached to some of the others. Example the cake one the fork could have come with the piece of cake attached to the fork already and the jelly one should have had the cherry attached to the jelly and even the cup should have been attached to the jelly already. I'm not sure why they felt the need to do that.

Neh-koh is the correct pronunciation. Just a quick tip for pronunciation of Japanese words is that the words are mostly constructed of 2 letter syllables ending in a vowel (na, he, bi), plus a couple of 3 letter syllables (tsu, shi) and the letter n. So if you look at the word, you can tell how it is pronounced. So the Japanese word for collector is korekuta... and you would pronounce it ko-re-ku-ta.

It's spelled like you would want to pronounce it "ko-reh-KOOT-uh," and for SURE that ain't right lol! It's hard to get a head on pronunciation unless you've heard it spoken, but it's *closer* to "kohREKHtah," at least courtesy of my Japanese-fluent friend...

i've said it before, it's more like necko, not kneeko. granted people will say it however they want, but in japanese it is ne (as in neck or nest) ko (as in comb).

and mochi is usually ice cream inside a rice flour ball. sometimes they do other things inside, but it's a sweet sticky rice flour, almost candy like, around the outside. should look for some in walmart sometime in the ice cream section.

The "cat" that was part of the Dango is actually a Kistune they are a part of the Japanese folklore. The tail may be a normal cat tail but the kitsune"s tail is not one but at least 9 tails in total, hope you like this info😊🦊!
