The reason why is because in the anime/manga The winged dragon of Ra is unaffected by the other two Egyptian Gods effects as its higher on a the divine scaling.

Happy marriage! But I think Odin deck was much worse than Obilisks. The link monster of Aesir wasn't in deck, and there were many unusable cards. The Obilisks deck has many cards that are very good. His new support is there, unlike the Aesir one.

Reason why the feathers of fenrir is a trap is due to the anime having the Nordic gods be played in speed duels they could use any trap but required speed spells and counters in order to be useful

The best Egyptian god depends on the format. These days it’s slifer because of its floodgate. Sphere mode because it’s tributing, but earlier formats obelisk probably was pretty good

I was more talking about lore wise Ra is the strongest. In all honesty Slifer has the best effect as it is just a floodgate so I'd honestly make the argument that it's the best one out of the 3 Egyptian Gods as with it's support it can be played in Labrynth.

@jen I would have used preme like you did summoned the 3 ras disciples in attack mode, crashed with oblisk and then attacked for damage and then used call to damage for game. Susu didn't have another monster to banish to bring back Odin.

The gods are hard to rank. Filly set up (phoenix mode in grave and sphere mode) its ra, slifer makes some decks unable to play, and obelisk is the easiest to get value with.

Best in your series would likely be tricky as only really Obelisk is somewhat viable... Slifers potential is more when you foolish it one way or another and then revived sky god.. Thousano Shinkyou better be in the 3 god card deck though because you do have to keep in mind a lvl 10 is just a brick unless you can immedately make use of it otherwise. WHICH THE NORDIC DECK wont have as they all come from the extra deck... In the ra duel you guys used very very little of the ra support which doesnt really speak to which 'god' is better? which confuses me.... as immortal phenoix is a card... that can be a good 1 of... esspecially with true sun god I do understand not using god slime though as it would make the gods completely outclass the nordic ones, but there was no reason not to run true sun god.... Or cards like spell card soul exchange to be quicker with using the gods. Obelisk yes has the trap but its not very good and all 3 of the gods like spell card soul exchange or soul crossing,... spell card monster reborn is another tool
