As a Duck fan Oregon seems to always be good to really good. I just hope we can be great. We have years where we get sooooo close, i.e losing to auburn by 3 points in natty. But I really hope they can just get that mo key there back. Ohio State is just different this year, like scary good. I do believe that if anyone can get us there though it's Dan Lanning

They’ve been on the cusp of greatness for a long time. Just missing that one “thing” to bring it all together. Lanning is the guy who can unlock that “thing” and get Oregon over the hump.

The growth as Dan as a coach is just as key as the build up/make up as the team. Year three under Dan Oregon fans are hoping Dan has taken the lumps and learned enough to overcome close games against great teams this year and beyond.. I love my Ducks...

Not at all sure on winning the BIG 10 in the first year, but definitely will make a major impact on schools that feel the DUCKS are a 'secondary team coming from a secondary conference'!? One thing for certain is that schools will sell a boatload of extra tickets to games the 'wings' will be a part of!! MIchigan and Ohio State better be prepared for SPEED for sure and I am definitely looking forward to seeing the Buckeyes entering Autzen Stadium! GO DUCKS!!!

Is there a conference with more new QB starters? Who even returns their starting QB from last year? New teams included. Illinois, Penn State, Purdue and maybe Rutgers I think. I think an overlooked differentiator will be which teams on board their new starter the best.

​@redx9656 Oregons offense was trash that year. They just ran the ball at will all over tOSU. The defense was pretty solid but they were missing KT and had big holes at LB. This time around Oregon has a better Defense and a better offense by a mile. It will be a good game but it would not surprise me to see Oregon win at home.

People forget about Blake Purchase too he was underrated out of high school rankings wise but he is a pass rush specialist. Dude has crazy bend and athleticism on the edge. The defense is getting nastier and nastier each class it’s exciting.

If not this year it’s coming because nobody is outspending them this cycle in NIL. They seem to be really going for it like aTm did in 2022 with their class although I don’t think they are doing the shenanigans (under the table) pay like aTm did to acquire their class in 22.

Oregon is 19th in NIL spending at 10.6 million. Roughly half of what Ohio St. spends. So the buying the players angle vs. what other schools do doesn’t really add up
