It’s an interesting thought the electric assisted turbos, and one I’m sure BMW themselves are currently exploring for the next generation of M cars. Whether they’ll be hybrid or go full electric etc. Will that technology make its way to the aftermarket at a decent price point? Who knows, but if it’s something that’s viable we’ll explore it!

Yes single turbos are popular in America, for now we are pursuing the twin turbo setup. Our Stage 2+ setup was doing a 9.9s on 99 RON fuel, with a little bit more setup to accommodate the extra power we can be comfortably in the 9s over the 1/4 mile

BMW engines has always been the better tuner engine the fact is in the way BMW heavily detunes and bottleneck the cars power from factory mainly because they want it as reliable as possible also to leave room for improvement for next models and it's always been proven that they always make more power then BMW claims also the E46 M3 with a NA engine makes more power stock then a MK4 Supra and R34 GTR the proof is there already , the main factor is the 2JZ and R34 GTR is engines Toyota and Nissan pushed in absolutely every car they made be it a NA version be it a destroked version that was super old engines that was just improved over time also take into account that everyone poured all their research and development into making those cars faster and more reliable but nobody put that amount of time and effort and research and development into making other cars faster and more reliable at that power figures , it's just in recent here's that people's been paying more attention to BMW'S more and more BMW tuners are popping up , BMW engines have always been the GOAT's , also think back to when the Supra and Skyline came out it wasn't classified as a luxury car it was classified as a anyone can afford this car lets use and abuse it and then just buy another one so people would have tended to mess with them but nobody did that with BMW'S because it's always been branded as a expensive luxury car that nobody really wanted to mess with untill now

I got one of these engines and it’s going in an e36 GTR race car on a motec ecu . Mine however will only weigh 850-900 kg so completely standard it will be rapid ❤😇 Nice colour for the beemer too guys and nearly sounds as good as a normally aspirated!! What’s not to like .
