The dessert is always so pretty with a blanket of snow ❤, Not looking forward to all that cold weather coming to Alabama, we're expecting some severe weather when it clashes with all the moisture coming up from the gulf, could be some twirly whirly's in my future 😂 and then it'll get super cold, I just moved here 4 years ago from Colorado and never knew what a difference humidity made in the way it FEELS when temps drop 😱😱😱

Looks like it does here in Minnesota but today it was raining on top of the snow. Weird! Rain when within a degree or two of freezing makes driving so scary because of icy roads.

Speaking as a Northerner, used to this kind of weather, I can say you did a *fine* job. Keeping the goaties dry & fresh bedding and alfalfa mixed with straw is fine. Remember, for you *layers* of clothing is best, and try to keep dry and warm yourself, Derrick! You did a smart move blocking the wind and the worst of the snow - job well done! Am waiting to see if the Philly area actually sees some stuff out of this storm...headed my way Thursday apparently.

That snow is prophetic…Love the beauty of it…I’m from Louisiana but I lived in Mesa and Apache Junction for several years…Love it but we was dessert rats so not the best of a situation til God provided us a real home. I know it makes a lot of extra work for yall cleaning all that mess up but it sure look pretty there. I just feel sorry for all the extra work it's going to put yall through to make sure the goats have warm dry places to sleep in again the next night since it's going to warm up above freezing and melt all that pretty snow off and just make a mess of everything which means yall have a lot of work ahead of yall today and we all know the bucks will not make it easy on yall being in the pins with the ladies because they don't want anyone around their ladies and they want all the attention. We live in the interior of British Columbia Canada. Our weather predictions are saying that our Temps are steadily going down this week. We are at -19° Celsius today and will be -18° on Friday with 40% chance of flurries. We already have about 3ft of snow and when they say to expect 1/2" we have been getting a foot lol. Will be -20, -27 and -35 next week with more snow on the way. We have 5 dogs, one is an 8.5 month old female great Pyrenees, much like your dog, she absolutely loves the snow and falls asleep in it lol. We do have a warm place for her to go but she usually stays out until it gets to -20.

I live n west central Indiana bout 20ish miles from the Illinois state line, any who we've only gotten 1 snow so far thus year that really amounted to anything. It's even as much as what y'all got. We've been n the 40's n 50's mostly, only a few days was n the 30's.

We live in northern AZ and that storm was a doozy!! We got many inches of snow on Monday night and then it snowed twice the following day. I didn’t realize that the snow made it so far south. Crazy!! Thank you for sharing this by the way. We have 4 goats and they insist on sleeping outside of their little house in 15 degrees. It makes me quite nervous to be honest. Why won’t they just go into the house??!!

I never in my life thought I would say this that you have more snow than I do. I live 5 mins from the New Hampshire border! I keep saying that the weather/seasons are totally out of sync. All seasons have to be redone and possibly the sections that correspond aligned.
