Re: Powless, he crashed in O Gran Camino and hurt his knee. He tried to go through in Strade and Tirreno, but it kept acting up so he DNFed and had to recover from inflammation in the knee. He's fit now and doing US Nats and then Tour de Suisse before the TdF

Gudmestad I saw last year in brabantse pijl breakaway and he was strong there (it was bad weather so as a norwegian he had an obvious buffer) and now he´s sprinting this well. Interesting rider, similar to Paul Magnier.

Underwhelming stage to me. No real suspense, quite limited GC battle, boring route. Waiting for tomorrow and see what GC is going to bring.
