Army personnel are protectors of the country, including the police men of all states. Army personnel have their own courts to deal with their lapses, if any. Police are only required to salute and inform them of the lapse and report to their commanding officer. If, confirmed of the offence, they will get suitable punishment. They should not be disrespected outside. It would be proper the police in question need be punished and be educated about the matter.

I think it's Wrong to Compare Police and Army Officer. MY father is a police officer and was awarded by Best Investigation officer which was given by amitsha. I seen my father not coming home for weeks because They were chasing criminals. My father sloved rap case, Kidnapped case, Black money Case, Many Ciber Crime , Theft Case ,Murder Case [My father worked in Crimebranch , Cibercell and now working in Cid crime]
