I think with Jisung, because he doesn't get many lines it means he doesn't have enough center parts. But with his dance skills he truly balances the entire group's performance really well!! NCT Dream had been training together since they were around 9-14, and they’re one of the more cohesive NCT units and overall SM groups in terms of skill in dancing. Mark is an ace, he’s so clear and in control of his body it’s wild, Renjun is a vocalist but he passed his sm audition through dance, Jeno and Jaemin also hold lead dancer positions and you can always see the shift in energy once they come to the middle, Haechan and Chenle don’t technically have dance positions in Dream (Haechan does in 127) you’ll never catch them lacking and Jisung’s specialty is actually popping. They all have grown so much over the years (especially since everyone debuted as minors💀) and they’re truly underrated as a group in dance

Compared to 127, I think Dream's strength is in the harmonies. Their voices compliment each other. Each of their vocalists bring something new to the table, Chenle has a very stable voice and good in adlibs, Renjun adds a lot of emotions in their songs, and Haechan has really good vocal techniques. The rappers could hold their own in terms of singing too and can support with the lower register of songs which gives Dream's songs a very full and rich sound. Dream is a total package, they excel both in vocals, dance and even stage presence.

Obviously they both have mastered so many techniques and styles, but I'd say for some that Taeyong is better, and for others Mark is. Loving this Mark recognition! Officially both him and Jisung are the main dancers so whoever you chose would've been right. And Dream as a group has the best balance out of all NCT units, in my opinion, when it comes to being on the same level of dancing. So there's that. But because Mark is also a main rapper, people (even fans) really do forget that he's THAT good. His footwork and groovy moves have always been the best. There's a reason why he's often given center positions in dance breaks or choruses (or just those moves that pop, yknow, like you said). It's easy to forget that not everyone is this good when there's Mark always giving his best performance and making it look so easy. I think its probable that really good rappers/hip hop artists have something in them to be amazing dancers, it's all about the beat. (jhope), finding that pocket. Johnny once said the company discovered Mark and called him a prodigy. He basically is the "perfect" Kpop artist. He does everything flawlessly, sing, dance, rap. He's nonsexual for the most part in his real life, a sweet Christian Canadian boy, when of course the industry prefers their artists to be forever single. He speaks Korean and English, a huge plus for promotions. Is a tireless worker as seen in his recording videos. He won't have to lose popularity going into the Army since he's not Korean. And his solo pop song Golden Hour, was a smash hit. He can go solo, but blends in perfectly with any ensemble because he's a team player. I wonder if he needs or ever wants a different life.

The first thing I notice when I started watching nct (eventually stan them) is that mark lee is really a great dancer. There's just something about his moves that you can't see with anyone. He has his own style

It was so much fun watching professional dancers react to Dream. All of them are excellent performers. The Mark-Jisung pairing was also entertaining to watch. Both are terrific, but Mark is my personal favorite; his style appeals to me more than Jisung’s. They definitely deserve the attention they receive.

I really hope that in the future they could check out more Jisung's performance and see how good he is :( its kinda sad that most of the video they only talking about mark although I also really like mark

I agree, even in the comments no one’s talking abt jisung’s skill as he is not only the youngest but one of the main dancers next to Mark. I generally think his dancing really shines

​@@jordyn2631Jisung is the only main dancer in NCT Dream when they debuted on 2016, he is not just the maknae of the group , but the leading performer. The official announced main dancer of NCT since debut are Ten, TY, Jisung, and they all attended dancing competition/Variety show as the representative of NCT. Mark was mentioned on melon as "main dancer" on 2022/2023. Mark's dance is good and he's really work hard on it, but I must say, talking about dancing skills, foundation and performing art, Ten, TY and Jisung these three are on next level.

7:22 just to let you know in the video, jisung purposely didn’t show emotion for the second half so his performance value was actually perfect for the song and vibe of the dance!

When other people are dancing, they are following a choreo. When Mark is dancing, he is just dancing, you do not feel he would follow some kind of instructions, he just expresses existence in dance with his whole body. And Jisung is so powerful! I would like to mention - Renjun (if you saw Ridin dance practice, you know what I mean), - Haechan (as sexiest) and - Jaemin as well (if you saw the bowling challenge with Jisung you also know what I mean). - Jeno also has an unmatched kind of energy and movements, so - I am sorry, but I have to tell, Chenle is only one who is not The Main Dancer in NCT Dream, and even he is so good he would be a main dancer in a non-NCT group and he was extremely eye-catching for example in the Poison intro.

And this is why both Mark and Jisung are the main dancers of NCT DREAM. These ladies are professional dancers and they had the eye to pinpoint who the main dancers are. It’s one thing to be an audience and find your preference. You could be biased because you personally like the dancer. But professional dancers, they see the technicalities and the difficulties of it all. A dancer can be very technical but still get overshadowed by performance value. In this case, they both had a hard time picking one but at the end, they had to. So they picked one. No point in arguing who’s the better one coz both Mark and Jisung are at their own levels.
