Great fish Rebecca! Some of those Wrasse are so beautiful that they need to be copied into Women's accessories! Especially the red one's! They are stunning!

Highly enjoyable video, good to have the odd change from time to time. Interesting ref the plastic smelly didn't appear to work compared with a bit of crab picked off the bottom of the boat. Never tried eating wrasse as I've heard it full of bones and eaten raw in sashimi (not certain how accurate that is). On another subject how fast are you going when trolling for brass as you seem to be hammering it?
@Trojwaterman2 жыл бұрын
Wrasse are not bony if you get a decent one. They have big scales and are bit more work to fillet but apart from that you get some nice fillets off them. Bass it depends if I'm in shallow water I go slow but out in the deeper water with the fast currents I go fast.

I had no bites using squid rock fishing near Swanage Dorset then I found some izumi Japanese worms that purchased years ago I thought what the hell nothing to lose first cast bang ! Fish on kept trying with the squid but all the next 4 wrasse fell to the worms . don't give up sometime they work well but there best use is if I get to the seaside and the tackle shops have no rag these have proven there worth !
@Trojwaterman2 жыл бұрын
Certain brands may work unfortunately I have not found any as it would be so much easier than digging ragworm these days

Are you using small hardback crab with the legs and claws removed?
@Trojwaterman2 жыл бұрын
I just use hard green crab whole with the carapace removed or velvet swimming crab cut into quarters
