I think I can empathize with the guy. I was playing with a guy who I thought was just really good at the game. To be fair, I thought maybe he was cheating, he told me he wasn't. After a few wipes, he got banned and the admin did exactly what Camomo did here. Asked me to give him his discord. I did the exact same thing. Remember, this is someone I had spent hours playing video games with. We had become friends. I didn't even trust the admin that he was actually cheating because it was a server ban, not a game ban.

Camomo, years ago, I used to play CS.. On high ranks cheaters ruined many of my games and I used to have a "graveyard" on my steam profile with their account links with their vac bans I find your videos amazing because of the fact that You're holding these individuals accountable.. Rust is such a demanding game.. losing all of your stuff against cheaters can make people stop playing the game.. I barely have time for videogames now.. but I have friends who work 8-9 hours a day.. they love the game.. they play a few hours before going to sleep.. and just thinking about one of those stupid kids cheating and ruining their game is so frustrating.. air strike was cool but noticed it missed a few times. whoever made that plug for you should adjust it so the middle of the strike hits the player when right now it looks like only the last bomb gets close but doesn't quite reach half the time

I love the new 'Noisy Crouch' and the reaction the cheaters have to it, it's the simple tricks like that, that really make them panic and not understand what's happening because they may either not know of the new Can Trip Wire or may think that there is an exploit being used where people can keep them hidden. Mind you, I'm sure their ESP picks up the entity. Regardless it makes for a great reaction. The Air Strike. Again this is great especially if they themselves can hear their impending doom (the lock on sounds), I just hope it doesn't damage other players within the area or their bases. AKA it just damages the target (cheater) and their entities. It's not very predictable given that it can spawn from any point out of/into the map meaning it may hit something such as terrain or buildings, but when used in the best location it's great to instill a feeling of fear and dread into a cheater, specifically when they are carrying a sh*t ton of cheater loot or going out on a farm not seeing any threats nearby on their ESP. I hope that young kid you caught that was honest doesn't fall into the ever sinking pit of cheating. Once you start cheating it's almost impossible to stop as you simply do not care, you feel better than everyone so can shit talk like theres no tomorrow but most of all if and when you do try to play the game legit, all it takes is for you to get constantly shit on or even cheated on yourself for you to go straight back to cheating. I used to use cheats in Counter Strike Source when I was young, around 16-18. Back then with the mindset of a young teen I didn't care about getting banned because I could just buy other copy of CSS, make a new account and use a new undetected cheat. Back then a lot of them were free so I'd only ever pay something around £7 for a new game copy. I did it just for laughs at first by going full toggle, then I toned it down gradually to try to make it less detectable. As in CS throughout the series when you died people would watch whoever they wanted and this would lead to being caught out and getting server banned. I got a lot better at cheating not so obviously to the point I'd only get banned when VAC had detected the cheat. From 18 onward I stopped playing games for sometime as I was out partying and clubbing and generally doing what a bloke at that age does. When I had a serious set back by being diagnosed with Crohn's disease and depression I went back into my introverted ways and didn't go out so much, gradually less and less until I became a recluse. I discovered Rust in that time and started playing just as the major Component update was released. I found the game so much more of a challenge to what I had been used to, what with the fact you could be attacked from a full 360 degree radious as opposed to only really having to focus mostly on only 180 degrees or more that set build levels gave you in a lot of FPS games. Regardless. I found the challenge and reward factor to be enthralling and like everyone who first gets into Rust I found it to be addictive. It didn't occur to me to even thinking about cheating because I was having so much fun overall, what with all the ups and downs and the pride to not give up regardless. I found out about the cheating scene firstly by getting cheated on (multipul immediate head shots and people knowing where I am when it would be very difficult to follow and find me. Secondly, I discovered you Camomo and your admin videos seeing how clearly obvious it was to showcase these cheaters and how much of an idiot they looked. Anyway, after the initial Rust honeymoon period died down, having 3 or 4 resurges into loving the game again and again, I can honestly say I've never cheated in Rust in all my 5,400 hours. Why? Because I had grown up, matured and wasn't some attention seeking kid wanting to ruin other players games. I'd learnt not to throw your money away for a few weeks of unjust glory. What I'm getting at here is that people have the potential to stop cheating if not through maturity, having real life events happen that are so painful, degrading and depressing that it humbles you and the desire to enjoy the game by having multipul challenges and receiving natural feelings of reward, happiness and fulfilment which then acts as a conduit to progress further. I have the experience of both sides, the cheater (although not for Rust) and the normal player than finds themselves a target and victim of a cheater. If anyone has any questions regarding the mind-set of a previous cheater on another game or any thing else you wish to ask, then fire away. :)
