Game 1 and 2 felt extremely strange. Serral playing passively and on the backfoot (and against not even that inspiring of play). I really don't know what was happening here. lol

"Seeing Zerg lose to Airtos" sounds absolutely normal. I have a hard time understanding why not every toss plays only air+storm vs zerg. Even Serral can't beat it, than who can?

The reason it works so well on ladder is that 8 times out of 10 the zerg does nothing and lets toss get maxed out on carriers, rays and templar off of 3 bases... Honestly im making the same mistake when i'm playing zvp but I can admit that if I let toss just relax and max out, it's kinda my fault.

Personally I almost never play skytoss because I find it very boring to play, I prefer dropping archons, it's much more fun, even if it's less strong. I also play blink stalker sometimes. It's pretty weak against zerg but it's really fun to play. Anyway, there will always be stronger people, so I will always win 50% of the games. But the principle of the game (except pro) is to have fun :)

I really like Zerg. Ever since I've been watching SC2 (6-7 years at least) it always seemed like Zerg was the real underdog of the three races. Now, I watch enough IODIS, to know there isn't such a thing as an imba race. But still, lately, all I see is Zerg just losing and losing and losing. Even though I hear it in many places that zerg is also supposed to be imba. At first, I thought Harstem only cast games where Protoss wins because he's such a cheeky little Protoss fanboy! But that's not the case, we see a lot of Terrans winning too! Where are the winning Zerg games Harstem? Stop with the bug hate and get these golden space virgins out of here! Lemme see my precious swarm slaughter some of these humanoid blobs of useless DNA! Thank you!

There is way less zergs than there were a while ago (almost always the least represented race in tournaments, go look at it in liquipedia) and the zergs that are playing still lose more than they used to. Yes, Zerg was considered imba a year or two ago. Now it is way less strong, I would even argue pretty weak. Showing zergs lose is therefore only normal lol

Zerg has won 5 out of the last 7 GSL seasons and 5 out of 5 of the last World Championships. If you watch Harstem he plays more Protoss wins because his viewers are more likely Protoss players and we want to see him analyze Protoss wins

The first game, lets just say that disruptor as a cooldown-based spellcaster is super strong in big numbers because of non-stop siege and cc, not to mention instant damage and frickin micro-able spell ( but alas counter for that is also micro but for zerg dodging disruptor had more to do with maps and chokepoint, cuz I kid you not protoss nor terran can even stand their ground against zerg on an open field with their stupid siege tank, high templar and frickin skytoss.) So the first match was just serral got bad map for zerg. And the third match let just say that maxpax did what protoss always did best and win.

When a top player like Harstem expect a Maxpax supply block, but of course the pylon finishes just at the right time, when he thinks that Serral's queen pull is a mistake, but it is the perfect defense, you can see that the difference between top 100 and top 10 is quite large. Every high-level player I see uses the no-death-animations but DOES use the Account XP Gained animation. I agree it looks silly, but I think it's because the Account XP Gained animation plays even when you kill a unit out of sight in fog of war, so you always know if you actually got it or not. If that's not it, I have no idea.
