Interesting... A nice family, but not skint. Their house is well decorated and furnished and there are little giveaways: the Heinz ketchup as opposed to a budget brand, and the Apple Watch that Venus is wearing. Everyone seems well groomed and well dressed. I don't doubt the local crime, but I have seen far, far worse areas. As for Brooke, I am sure she is pleasant but she is certainly naive. It is probably the fault of the producers, but who would take a designer bag and expensive watch etc to flaunt around the place? That said, it probably did not look out of place because few people know what is genuine or not and to most people she would have looked like a wannabe rich girl dolled up in the latest imitation designer gear. Turning down a simple cheese sandwich for reasons other than allergies is not a good look, and saying you are tired after drilling one hole is woeful! I liked them in many ways, but overall it was all just a bit, well, weird (on both sides).

I'd consider them pretty skint, I think the fact that their house and the children are well presented and clean is down to the mother's hard work and not lots of money, you can often pick up brand name foods cheap at the market when they're close to the best before date .. If it's relatively easy you're comfortable however much money imo... I'd agree with you that the episode was a bit weird 💜

These women have such hard lives. They never mention child support - I wonder if the fathers are required to contribute to their kids' welfare.

They're only required to by law if they are named on the birth certificate and if they earn enough money 😢 there's something called the child support agency that decides what and how much they should pay but only a court can force them to if they choose not to.

Why in Heavens name does she want to be a nurse when her parents are rich,she wants to be a nurse working 12hours on your feet making minimum wage and living from hand to mouth every month,does she even knoe what it is to be emotionally,physically and mentally absolutely dead tired,I'm a nurse 25 years and it kills you slowly but surely,there was no other choice for me,i was a Flight Attendant but the airline went bust after covid,a princess being a nurse😢

She won't be living on minimum wage though. She will very likely earn it as pocket money and is likely to have mummy and daddys financial support as well as eventually a partner who would likely come from money too. She will never know what relying on a nurse wage is like. It's just not the life she has.

It's amazing how these *Rich Kids* have *Zero Life Skills* . They don't know how to use a stove, they don't know how to wash dishes. They are confused when shopping for groceries, they don't have a clue on how to wash their clothing and I bet they don't know how to put gas in their fancy cars. It's rather sad.
