Ryan Hart won Street Fighter, KOF, Tekken, Virtua Fighter and more. He's the multi-game GOAT. Justin Wong and Tokido also have won multiple games. Sonicfox is the current multi-game prodigy, though. He's ridiculously strong at chess, for some reason.

Winning EVO or World Finals for a game like Tekken and any 2D game at the same time is very hard , that's the difference. Arslan is not talking about making top 8 which has been done, but what has never been done before is winning . Winning across multiple 2D games is easier because the neutral skills carry over to a tee, that is not possible if you wanna win in a 3D and a 2D game at the same time.

Sonic would be my bet, but this being the biggest fighting game tournament ever, it's also probably going to be the toughest. I think if they were to do it, it would have to be MK11 and DBFZ; I know they've been playing SF6, but there are way too many insane players for that game.

I've never seen that clip of goichi literally shaking after he won and i went and watched it in full, such a touching moment. I kinda hope arslan ash does stick to tekken just bc i really enjoyed watching him on kazumi, i learned a lot as a noob kazumi player. I guess sonicfox is just REALLY used to adapting to dif games now bc he switches constantly, right? That in itself is an independent skill.

That is a great set if you haven't seen it before, it came down to final touch basically and it clearly meant so much to Go1 to be able to win. Also as much as people act like Sonic has a massive ego they are one of the most gracious losers I have ever seen and always celebrate the person who won, I cut the clip but they get up with Go1 and completely enjoy the victory with him. I think Arslan will go back to T7 especially because this will be the last year for it, and he might feel renewed at pursuing it after Pakistan won the team tournament. Sonic is the best learner in anything I have seen. Even in the Project L gameplay stuff multiple people have said Sonic won the tournament at the end, they always learn and pick up on new games extremely fast and then either move on or stick with it. Their only limit seems to be how interested they are in the game

Sonic is a Godlike player but the street fighter scene is a different beast. There are other scenes too. Sonic tends to dominate weak scenes. Come at me bro!

It is going to be incredibly hard to win in Street Fighter but I wouldn't say they dominate weak scenes. The year they won DBFZ it was the premier game and had the most (or close to the most at least) international competition

Fox is a can crusher he can never win any evo on day 3 he can win nrs games with his cheap style he can win skull girls, he can win in a fledgling dbz when not as many players in the scene can afford full time fg training cuz they aren't making a full-time living on it. You can do it in any game but tekken Tekkens top placing has the most consistent hierarchy and is too old not to dedicate your time too I'm not surprised sonic fox got close in those other 2. Probably true, Tekken players are grinding hard and winning an anime game + Tekken is going to be rough. So many games now are so heavy on matchup knowledge it's too easy to be surprised by something if you try and play multiple games
