I'm never watching Oversampled videos again. The guy makes a song in 90 minutes that is better than songs I worked 40+ hours on. Pure Talent

@@TheJohnsofDoes No, not at all, even if what you say (which is unfounded) is true, it would still take a long time to formulate the idea and figure out how you want it to sound... And good luck trying to sound decent! In any case, we can also say that "genres like these" as you call them, have a lot of production technique behind, which makes doing it more understandable, detailed, practical, etc... And yet, look at how long it takes all this. Anyway, that would be to say that classical music is very formulaic because music theory focuses mainly on it, which ignores (in addition to confusing) what it means to be "traditionalist".

Here's the incomplete summary of the video, i hope OVERSAMPLED acknowledges it Cant beleive i made this song ( oversampled ) 1. analog lab piano which contains some strings, get a scale here e minor, start writing chords with notes spreaded , try to make 8 bar long loop ( one style of making chords - 2, 1 bars amd 1, 2 bar long chords ) 2. make melody on same scale and piano, adding more layers of some some notes 3. using vocal and pitching one octave higher (a screaming vocal in same scale e minor ) from KRYSTA pack, has a presetted rack of plugins that contains, automating vocal using gain, lot of delay, endless smile, small vocal chops types having a, vocal having more space at the end of loop 8 bar longlot of reverb and dealy to leave a effect 4. adding rain fx with eq to adjust 5. adding deep reese bass, same as base note of chords. ARRANGEMENT INTRO - 8 bars ( piano and second piano with rain ), next 8 bars ( + reese bass and vocal chops ), opening filter of vocals ambience just before buildup. BUILDUP - (Impact, one note of reese bass extended, screaming leads with lot of reverb made by extending melody notes LITERALLT LOTS OF AMBIENCE BY USING REVERB , putting endless smile to createatmos and automating so that it opens up , here something unusual has been done in buildup, vocal chops continues with filters opening, 2 buildup drums are added one reversed and another normal, buildup drum loop is added along with increasing its attack by transient shaper ( netron 3 native instruments ), adding 2 risers that is tuned to song, adding reverb to risers and buildup drums, automating the reverb so that is leaves reverb effect after ending, reverb effect should come only at the near end of buildup , adding pre drop sweep, ADDING CHORDS OF PIANO WITHOUT MELODY AND PUTTING A ARPPPPEGIRATOR ON IT THAT ARE PROCESSED, bass and arp chords are are cutted 4 bars before predrop, ADDING A HUGE BRASS WITH PROCESSING HAVING NOTES SIMILAR TO BASS) PRE DROP - (4 bars, drum fills with trasient shaper, a small riser made out of arp chords and icreasing its arp rate and adding a gross beat kinda effect by using SHaperbox { 1/16 } and automating endless smile on this small arp chord riser amd pitch automation

Your work on sound design has improved my music so much. I dont even make EDM, I make anti-pop/trap, but EDM has always fascinated me in it's sonic quality. Thanks for helping me find my own unique niche, and I'm sure many others feel the same way. (My music on here doesn't cut it, they're just random demos so don't even bother looking, I put everything worth it on Spotify)
