I'm making my way back to the UK now that I've been to ‪@Park4nightplus‬, I'm not rushing I'm just taking a casual drive back stopping here and there as I go.

Hi Darren, I agree about the roads quality. I drive to Germany and Ireland every year. It's only when I return to the UK I realise how bad the roads are, full of potholes and broken surfaces.

The fuel issues will change as some countries fuel has different flash point so can burn quicker.

You need a portable fridge/freezer as a overflow to land yacht fridge. Yep, that freezer is for a weekend use.

Saw a lot of hot food windows in Amsterdam, think Japan wins for food in windows, but yes, if a local farmer doing this, I like the idea, bit random what was inside some of the windows

Got my nice gear for outside the house but everything else I wear until it falls off me, not tight, I spend money, just don’t feel the need to buy clothes every week or month, what do they call it, retail therapy, my therapy is fire up the Braai, steak on cold beer

I have micro camper and had issues with supermarket fuel, under 500 to tank, started using Esso and putting diesel cleaner in every so often now getting over 600, worth paying bit extra for fuel, roads here are rubbish as well😳

I didn't think you could go on the Chunnel with lpg tanks? I live in Spain and have now forgotten what traffic jams are. Spent 20 years commuting daily into and out of London, and miss that like a hole in the head

Another eggcellent European video, shame that your heading back to good old blighty. A possible reason for the difference in fuel economy (apart from the obvious crappy supermarket fuel Vs the likes of V power) is you maybe are doing longer journeys instead of more start/stopping in the UK and each time the engine is heat cycling to optimum running temperature compared to start then travel few hundred miles in one go. I've rode round Europe and it's definitely smoother driving/riding than trying to get round the UK which drags down mpg.

Do you have Dash cam in your motorhome? Let’s face it most countries in Europe do things better than the UK, roads in the UK are awful as they aren’t maintained. Why can’t we have park ups like this in the UK!
