Sorry your trip was cut short but some good plane spotting in Barcelona, JFK and LGA. Was just in LGA and I could sit all day in the food court where you were looking out the windows at the ramp between the bridges. I did Vueling once from Rome to London . they had a 6 or 7 hour delay ,we got to London . There is a travelers rights bill in Europe and we got all the flight cost back and then some . Kind of felt bad because they did fly us there . It did take a long time for the refund . I used them from Nice to Barcelona and they were the best .Just hit and miss i guess.

Really enjoyed the video. Like you I love looking at Flight Radar whether Im at home or the airport. Pity about the flight to Nice. Dont forget high speed rail is great to get around. 300kmh. They go point to point amost as fast as a plane on shorter legs. The 777 and the Airbus330 have different tail cones. The 777 is flat ended, the 330 is a cone.

Happy Birthday to your mom! Look up the rules on EU261! If you had taken the flight 4 days later, vueling would be responsible for duty of care(food and lodging) until then. I fly EU airlines quite a bit and EU 261 is why I would book an EU airline. Sorry you didn't get to make it NCE or MXP/LIN.

@@flightattendantjojo maybe mom’s next birthday adventure could be Paris or Rome. 🤭 some of my best memories traveling with my mom were 2 trips to Australia, several to Europe and numerous cruises. She’s 95 now and has severe dementia so I remember our wonder mother/daughter trips for the both of us. This video was very heart warming as all of your trips are. Sorry for the blip in your travel plans. My travel home from London got jacked by Covid in June so I was delayed coming home a week when the testing ban finally was lifted. AA international flagship was incredible! FA’s were amazing, slept well in my pod, food was great and loved my hot fudge sundae. 😂 watched King Richard and Dog, both fabulous movies. Loved the entertainment selection on AA.

Emirates is 777s (124 -300ERs and 10 -200LRs) and A380s ONLY. They do have the 777-9s, 787-9s, AND A350-900's on order... Vueling is Spain's equivalent to easyJet and Ryanair...

Emirates Air have 2 aircraft types 1 . A380 & 2. Boeing 773 er both aircraft fly into BCN Vueling is a joke which is a member of IAG which includes LEVEL , IBERIA & British Airways 4 future reference flying in the Europe mainland try & use Easyjet or Ryanair or take the train. Emirates only operates 777s and A380s. That particular plane was a 777, a330s have wingtips.

Great vlog as always! Happy Birthday to your mother. The EK plane was 777-200. The same type you flew to JFK. When landing you see a Swiss wide body. That is a A330. Look at the cockpit Windows of the 737. That is basicly how all the Boeing cockpits look like. Not the 747 and 787. The apu end of 787 and 757/767 looks like a pencil sharpener. The apu 777 is flat like a minus screw driver. The cockpit Windows of the A330 are more square and the winglets point out from the wings. The apu end looks strange. I am not surpriced that this happend. The cheaper the ticket the worse the service is my rule. The EU rules of canceling a flight are ment to a bad deal for the airlines, not the pax! Did you get more refund than what you paid for the ticket? This summer Europe is same as the US when it comes chaos at airports. Looking forward to the next one. Be safe! When can you start to bid for an LA base again?

Pity you didn't get to complete your trip as planned. Vueling is a low cost Spanish airline, much like EasyJet or Ryanair. There have been many cancelled flights this summer around Europe because of problems with short staff at airports and airlines following the pandemic. There have also been a lot of strikes, especially in Spain, due to the cost of living crisis, as staff are trying to get higher salaries. It's not just impacting Vueling, loads of EasyJet, Ryanair and even British Airways (amongst other carriers) have been cancelled. Heathrow airport had to order airlines to cancel flights because they didn't have enough staff to cope with the amount of people wanting to fly. As some have already mentioned, the EU has strict rules on airlines. Worth looking up the rules as you should be able to claim your flight cost back plus some compensation. By the way, Marcus was close, 'Vweling' would be acceptable but it's actually pronounced 'Bweling'

Have to believe AA is replacing the 321T with either (or both) of the longer range versions of the A321. The A321 LR (less passengers, but longer range), like Jet Blue now uses on the JFK-LHR route and / or the A321 XLR (longest range, more passengers, more cargo space), expected to debut in that 2 year timeframe. The A321T AA uses is already a standard CEO or NEO variant, except for the 4-class (if it includes PE) configuration. AA may either keep those planes for (shorter hop) International use only or change them back to a 3-class (incl. PE) Domestic configuration by replacing the "pods" for regular Domestic Business.
