Also, they stopped building the Washington monument because it was being built in the middle of the civil war so they stopped building during the time and then when they started it back up, the material wasn't available in the old color. Charles, you're actually looking at planes taking off/landing at Washington Reagan Airport (DCA). Dulles Airport (IAD) is a fair drive west. Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI) also serves the metro D.C. area. I used to drive corporate limos to each airport. Hope you enjoyed your day off on the Mall.

I've been watching Charles for over 8 years now and he doesn't deserve people leaving this channel but i myself usually just think "oh god is Allie going to complain or talk about Charles in a for granted kinda way"?! It's just weird. Maybe it's just a phase! Once the wedding comes, hopefully everything goes back to normal because it shouldn't be a stressful journey! It should be about spreading excitement not complaining about it since months ago! His ex wife took the wedding journey in a completely different route than Allie does now but I guess people are different and it's completely understandable! Keep up the work and hopefully people come back and realize what wonderful people Charles and Allie are! Can't wait to see the wedding and the Hawaii trip in the future!

Charles, there is sooooooo much more to see in DC other than the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Memorial and the White House. Why do you always go to those when you come to DC. Throw in a museum or a music or theatre show or a great restaurant while you are here. I think you would have a ball at the American History museum or the Air and Space museum. The National Zoo is pretty good too, but you might want to save that for when you are in town with Allie. If you ever want suggestions for things to do in DC, I would be happy to give you personalize suggestions, just please don't keep going back to those 3 overrated attractions again and again.
