UTA students take shelter during tornadoes

Id be scared too ! Came close one time being in a tornado in August 1975 Was 19 years old . It went over my house sounding like a train in a tunnel but hit 14 blocks away from me ! It did not hit by me Thank God and I did not take shelter like a dummie ! I was in bedroom with window slightly a jar ! I was just lucky ! Sorry the kids had to go through all of this ! Hope they are all alright ! We get warnings but usaully it does not hit Milwaukee or West Allis but it has hit 91 times in our life time !But not by me !

They were not that powerful. Some tornadoes are roof rippers and some completely level a building. Again it depends on the structure

Yeah, but sadly, people don't know the difference between a tornado emergency and warning, so they would probably do the same.
