Isn’t it fun shopping with your son. Can’t get over how much he looks just like his daddy. You can tell he’s Chris’s son. Now to the haul. Wow! You guys did fantastic. I loved a lot of what you found. You know especially the Ironstone. I’m so happy you got that yard ornament of the pigs. I really liked it. So many things you found that I liked so much. I would love to have a sale like that near me. Love seeing you and your son out together! Our son and daughter in law and I had a booth together years ago. We had the best time repurposing pallet wood for signs and so on. Such a blessing to have kids who love the same things we do! Nice haul! I think my fav thing was the hat rack! That is a dreamy piece! But so many cool things! 😊

It is so nice to have company to pick with as Alex looks so much like Chris. I wish that I lived near you as you would have passed out if you saw the swung vases at this online alaska auction and the prices and cameras this is alaska. I did not realize that my clear glass vase was swung glass so my cameras could be worth money also. Loved tagging along with you and Alex and getting to meet Alex's girl friend. Thank you ❤❤❤

Oh I just love the blue hat rack! What a great find. I’m sure you had a great time with Alex. I just love it when the younger generation appreciates the older things. Such a fun way to spend time together and learn about your kids. Yvonne, I recently found the cast iron barn like you have. It had 3 animals with it for $125. Is that a good price? Not for resale, but for myself? I’ve never seen another one but yours, and I fell in love with it. I have no idea even where I would put it if I bought it…but I can’t stop thinking about it!

The fuzzy blue "thing" that Alex got that is from the 1970"s actually lookes exactly like Cookie Monster from Sesame Stew. I really think that is what it is. This looked like so much fun, especially since you got to do it with your son, although I am sure it would really be neat even if you were only by yourself. as amazed at some to the things y'all found, and at the prices you paid for them, Yvonne, I did want to tell you though that your son is absolutely adorable! Not only is he cute as a button (sorry Alex, but it's true), but he is is nice, polite, respectful, and considerate. It's very obvious how great of parents you guys were.

So a few years ago I told you about my lil nephew who fell asleep on my bed and in his sleep he tried to change the KZbin on me. Well he's older now and Lil Nick is huge now and loves coming to my house doing crafts and watching his Ginger Chick. I’m not sure the little green fish was a McCoy. Maybe a knockoff from a different pottery line? I have collected the NM (Nelson McCoy) fish in various pastel colors. (💛🤍💚🩵💗 pastels) The body of the NM fish are dimpled and you should be able to see the NM mark at the base of the tail. Looks like there were lots of good items. So fun to just wander and look at all the goodies. I’ve stopped collecting so I’m just a looky loo now.😊

The camera went a little wonky when you saw that first ironstone tureen. 😄 I was afraid you wouldn’t get much of a haul when I saw the prices. They didn't seem like garage sale prices to me along the highway. I have a family wooden piece that you call a butter spoon or paddle. It was always with Great GreatAunt Hannah's bread bowl so I thought it was about making bread. But it is for butter? Love the oval frames and the stained glass.
