They serve time, lose jobs, get their drivers licenses and passports revoked, etc. There's a large number of guys who are in homeless shelters and are couch surfing because of child support payments, or because of not being able to afford them. A lot of them end up having to hustle and work under the table just to survive. Women generally don't experience any of that. They get help from the government and from other people.

Anton I'm a single father. My wife passed 11 years ago. I have been raising a 16-year-old daughter for 11 years by myself. These women out here are trash. The word trash is a very harsh word I'll say damage and a lack of accountability. They take blame for nothing. Which is caused me to not have remarry since. Not every single mother has the same soapy sob story of her being abandoned out of nowhere and/or for no reason. Not all of them are the sweet innocent little victim they want you to believe they are. Some of them were sleeping around and didn't even know who the biological father is. Some of them cheated and tried to pin the affair baby on the man they betrayed. Some of them baby trapped a man who didn't want kids. She tampered with the condom. Some of them thought that forcing a baby on the man was going to fix a dying relationship. Another "oopsies" pregnancy. Some of them ruined the relationship. The man still wants to be in the child's life, but the mother is so petty, bitter, and vindictive that she is keeping the child away from the father. She holds their child up for ransom until he bows down and follow every one of her tyrannical decrees. Some of them purposely chose to procreate with the worst type of men.

Kamryn makes a valid point about the power that women wield with bearing a child. That should not be taken lightly, in that women have to protect themselves and do their due diligence in vetting out their partner. Simply because they bear the most when it comes to bringing a child into the world. I say this being a child of a single parent. I saw the struggles my mother went through with little to no support from my father. Single parent mothers should not bear the blame for bad outcomes when raising their children. Thus, once the child is here and the father is absent, she has to work double hard to make up the difference. My point is single parenthood is not an ideal situation and given a choice, most people would rather have children with a partner that will share the responsibility.

Just because a man is not a good husband/boyfriend doesn't mean he can't be a good father. They are not mutually exclusive. There are some family court lawyers that believe a man should lose custody or believe father and husband are one in the same. That should not be the case nor is the sentiment true. The roles are completely different. Countless men have admitted they were good at one and not the other. Unfortunate yes, but that's reality. End of the day the men are not given the same grace for their shortcomings unlike the women, yet we're supposed to soldier on knowing that inequality. Part of the reason men have checked out of society altogether.

The question is; what about the single mothers who make life hard for active dads? Dads who pay child support, or don’t pay child support but support the child by purchasing clothes, food, insurance, as well as spending time…. But the mothers who make life very hard for the dads who are good and do good by their children? They spend too much time on dads who aren’t active. Speak on these things bc if your brothers, cousins, uncles, friends go through these issues why aren’t women advocating and holding these women accountable understanding that fathers are necessary for their children….. I’m going through this and it sucks. My bm wants all control but when problems arise expects me to clean up her mess/bad decision making….. I love my child and give my life for him, all I want is to raise my son to be a productive citizen and guide him from making the mistakes I made….

If women are taught how to look at character prior to anything else, so much could be avoided. Fathers teach their daughters a lot in life. I remember lessons my father taught me & he was not in the house with me and my mother. I think if I were raised with him in the household, I would not have made the same choices I made. I'm GenX & looking back I now realize all the things I did wrong. I did a lot correctly coming from where I started. When women choose men with high moral characteristics that does not change. People with integrity always have integrity their entire life. It never waivers.
