Thanks for the video testimonial of the LS tractors doing real farm work. Nice to hear that they’re standing by their warranty. We’re considering LS for our next tractor, since Green & orange have priced themselves out of our budget. I still can’t get over the price difference. I’d appreciate any more info you’d be willing to share about why you went with/ LS, what you like & don’t like. I want to do as much research as I can before spending another $50 thousand + on equipment. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Well, as always, John Deere has priced themselves out of most peoples budgets along with Kabota. These tractors quality are very good as we have used three of these machines in full-time farming service for five years, and had mostly great success. There's always the occasional breakdown when you have other operators in your machines. I worked it right next to a 5100 E Deere and performed all the same jobs at a higher hourly year run rate had no regrets.

I’ve been considering getting an LS573 tractor. I’d primarily use it for hauling 3x3 big bales (2 at a time), small square baling, and raking (2 row merger runs off hydraulics.) Think it would handle that fine? How many hrs on yours? Any issues with them? Also how does the transmission work can you Powershift between gears or is it synchro with a power shuttle for forward and reverse?

We haul 4x6 two in the front two in the rear I believe there is a video on there showing us hauling and moving them handles it with no problem. The hydraulics on these tractors are fantastic it has a lockout detent and the others are very strong with no issues we have run into. I think it would handle anything you can do with it with no troubles we have around 2500 hours on ours and the transmissions and shifters have zero issues at this point. It does have a Power shuttle forward and reverse works fantastically also it has a button shift on the right hand for one through four on the gears simply push the button and change between gears on the fly works well. Hope that helps

I just got a LS mt573 and I love it! How long have you had yours?

We have 2 and they are great. Had a HS4040 also Hydrostat model they are great tractors. We have a lot of videos doing some pretty amazing things with those tractors.
