BOTS Zylon Hey, my phone is also an S3. They're not as easy to root as some, especially if it's a Verizon like mine. Kingo Root is the best/only rooting software that works good and is pretty idiot proof. You won't have SuperSu unless you're rooted or unless the phone was previously rooted and it was just left on there. Even then, the factory reset should have wiped it out. All SuperSu does is manage file permissions for applications. It has no use whatsoever unless the phone is rooted. You also won't be able to get into the system files, like the host file in this vid, unless you're rooted. If you're still having problems, go to the kingo root website and they'll explain the whole rooting thing. It's not nearly as scary or as hard as it sounds once you know which software will work with your model of phone.
