Each time we think of the things that someone did to us, yes we don't want to forgive them. But we must constantly respond to that thought with... "Jesus forgave me for (that sin)... Then must say God, I give them to You, then let God take over and deal with them. Then you're free, God's ways are higher than our ways. Love in peace and be free❣️ Don't let their sin hold you back from moving forward and living in peace.

I've struggled with it to until listening to Dr. Stanley. Listen to his sermons on ANGER (I believe its 3 parts). That was my cure. He teaches you how to have a forgiving spirit. Only with God's help can you forgive, you can't do it alone.

I watched the complete sermon over this past weekend. I thought I had dealt with my own unforgiving spirit several years ago. Listening to Dr. Stanley made me more aware of the lack of forgiveness that I still harbored in my heart. It also revealed what should have been obvious to me, but yet wasn’t…that an unforgiving spirit is sin, and hinders my relationship with God. I think now I will be successful in dealing with this matter once and for all.

Thank you, Father God, for showing me ME! Thank you for YOUR deliverance in my heart.❤ Thank you for helping me (DAILY) to LIVE and WALK in FORGIVENESS every day so that I do not sin against YOU. Any unforgiveness I have in my heart, I ask that you help me where it hurts. Cover me Father God. Cover my family and whoever else struggles with unforgiveness. Unforgiveness is demonic, and WE NEED YOU Father God! Thank you for your LOVE and FORGIVENESS towards us. In Jesus name according to YOUR WORD, Amen. ❤

As always Pastor Stanley, you have shared, once again, a most powerful and lifechanging message! I needed to hear this, and was just pondering and praying about your daily devotional on forgiveness the other day, and am thankful God put this message right in front of me to hear, to reflect on in my life, and to make the changes I need to make within my heart to obey God in this area of my life. Praise you for sharing God's word, and helping to transform lives. Your spiritual Granddaughter, Mel

I prayed to God about the situation and tried to be kind. All I got was cheated and insulted. Prayer and forgiveness didn't work so unforgiveness is all I have left. I quit God and church because of it.

Yes, God forgives, however if the heart doesn't change, we will still have to give an account. The enemy makes it look as though the other person is getting away with what they did. God sees all things.The Christian walk isn't a game. It's about truly changing the heart and living for the Heavenly Father.

How does one forgive a great wrong?
@joshuaromulo98805 жыл бұрын
Hello :) Perhaps we must look to the example of Jesus. If anyone had the right to be angry, it was Jesus, but he chose to forgive. He was mocked, beaten up, and crucified, yet his words were "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."

One way Jesus drew people to him was through his ability to love and forgive all people. When we dont forgive a non-brother we cast them away, they see and feel this and then they are not drawn to us to learn what they can from us and be drawn to Jesus. Had Jesus also cast people away but his brothers he would have had no followers, no brothers! They were all sinners at that time until he taught them the way and the truth. He was able to teach them because they were drawn to his love for them!

My daughters mother in law caused my daughter to miscarry my first grandchild and since then I have a living grandchild who my daughter lets the mother in law keep several times a week. I have had to be around this woman a couple of times and I just about come unglued every time I see her. My daughter also told me the woman claims to be a white witch. I absolutely cannot tolerate the thought of my grandchild being around her much less alone with her for several days and nights a week. I don’t know how to deal with this. It’s obvious she is a sister in Christ. Matthew 18:21 says if a brother or sister sins against us. So does the same command of forgiveness apply to her?
@myleereagan45454 жыл бұрын
Missi R yes it applies to your enemy, But when you stand before GOD He Will point out your individual sins, remember JESUS told his disciple to forgive 70 x 70,(sounds funny don't it.. jus kidding 😊...you need to confess to GOD your deep hate toward this woman, ps51 says create in me a clean heart.. renew a right spirit within me.. and plead BLOOD of JESUS against this person if she's really a witch, right away you need to watch john hagee or Derrick Prince teachings & sermons on that issue!!

Harboring Unforgiveness - Bible Questions with Michael Pearl - try this guy...he talks about how it's just your brother you are to forgive and the rest might be best left to the devil to get sorted out...if we forgive without them asking for it, they can end up never having to deal with their actions. I can't quite get it right but maybe it can help you.
@starwars_chola70014 жыл бұрын
Hi. I read your comment and I've had experiences with Lord and still am. I really do believe when we get convicted by The Holy Spirit when we're harboring unforgiveness/resentment and we recognize it,repent ,and choose to ask God for forgiveness he will forgive us and also pray for the person who hurt you,because God knows the why. I always think how Jesus died for us and I'm not showing that person the same grace towards that person like Jesus did for us. I seriously have to pray and ask God to search my heart and get this poison out of me ,otherwise it affects our loving relationship with the one and true God. He will always have our backs but in his timing he will work through others. It brings tears to my eyes because that person is hurting and broken and God will deliver them and set them free. I hope it all makes sense. May God bless you and be strong

What would you advise someone who has been hurt badly by a person several times and trying to move on from the past who does not wish to see the people who hurt them so badly (for fear of being hurt again) but the offending people do not leave the person who they hurt alone?
