This is so beautiful. As much as I love their dramatic theatrical pieces, these beautiful harmonies always catch me off guard. This is one of my favorites because it’s all beautiful harmony. Two others where they harmonize beautifully that are favorites of mine would be True Colors and Bridge Over Troubled Water both with the same lineup.

Geoff did this arrangement. He said the song was too short, so he wrote the "overlapping" sections. That with the change in lighting maes this one so beautiful. It is rare for them to have Layne sing all the way through instread of beatboxing. About the same time frame they did Bridge Over Troubled Water. It's also gorgeous!

One of them - usually Geoff or Layne but sometimes Eli - will come up with the idea, create the arrangement, send the parts to the others to record their parts, then edit it all together, sound and video. Then it's send off for the final mix.

😀always a treat to hear Layne sing - He was their baritone before he took over the vocal percussion/beatboxing after Scott left for a successful acting career.

Ptx did a version of this that is incredible. It's a toss up which is better. You should check it out. This one was beautiful though

I can't resist - I checked your channel and see you like Dimash. My 4 top faves are Dimash, Voice Play, Dirty Loops and Snarky Puppy. Dirty Loops is 3 of the best musicians I've ever seen - and 12 years ago, when they just started playing together and accidentally took the internet by storm, they did Baby, the Justin Bieber cover. And they showed how excellent musicians can turn nothing into something brilliant.
