Something I've always wondered, when the Master died in the Doctor's arms, he kept begging him to regenerate, which means it's an optional thing for timelords to do, right? They decide when they die. So, if Rose somehow did stay and did travel with the Doctor and they both grew old together (because, again, they do grow old with their bodies as it was again proven with the 11th Doctor) then would he have died alongside her? Would they have gotten their happily ever after that way? I always wonder.
