Great video!!! But what about catching? For example, let's say I throw a pass to a receiver and it's calling for a RAC so I hit the x or a button. The ball goes right into their hands but out of habit I hold the acceleration button to be ready to go with it after the catch. The catch is clearly caught with possession but since I accidently hit acceleration, they drop it. Or let's say I'm in a clutch situation... I have to tap either triangle or Y for an aggressive catch. So I throw, hit Y they receiver looks like he might not have it so I might panic and hit Y again.. lol well I've noticed that since I hit Y or triangle again right before the catch, they drop it. Even though it was obviously a perfect catch/possession and dropped/counted incomplete. So I guess to put this more simply.. it seems like when you're throwing, press whatever action is being called for but do not have your fingers on any other buttons and do not touch anything at all until.the ball is completely possessed. Does anyone else notice this?. It's super frustrating and it was hard to explain just now lol

I need you help. I practise mode, when ever i pass the ball their is a DELAY when i User a receiver and hit the catch button they do not jump. They wait for the cornerback to jump first. Everytime, So i hit circle to jump the receiver then hit either ''R1 or L1.'' then the Triangle ''Aggressive catch.'' And all this in seconds not to react to catch the ball. This is pissing me off.

Every time I pass I throw a pick. Corners jumping twenty miles high LBs going super fast to catch up t a open receiver smh I am trash I can run but can’t pass so people load up the box against me and I constantly throw picks thinking my receiver beat them and they turn into Zeus by jumping a hundred feet high

Are you not playing on all madden? Every deep throw is an int, it doesn't matter how open the receiver is. The ball just takes too long to get there, which allows the defender to get there, and if there's a 50/50 ball the defender will always win, or they will tip it to another defender and intercept it

Example if your receiver starts on the left side of the field, runs a slant to the right side of the field and is getting followed by a defender. Move your left stick right and a tad up. (3-4 on a clock ⏰ ) and throw it.

It's work for me evertime. It only activates when you're opponent uses the same play a certain number of times. When that happens, you will see their playart with yours. And any adjustments they make to their play in real time.

90 isnt elite , if you throwing maybe 25 to 30 yards with gunslinger maybe, but 95 Throw power whether powered up or not is the next threshold and probably that "" elite arm"" , but this also varies between modes. In regs over 90 Throw power will usually suffice but if MUT you def want 95 Throw power guys

I have this problem mostly on crossing and drag routes where the receiver is in front of the DB (in between the QB and the DB) and running slightly ahead of the DB in man coverage, and the as the ball is about to be caught, the DB speeds up and jumps in front of the receiver. What do I do in this situation? It’s like a the CPU gets a speed boost it’s frustrating.

@@zampy8706 He’s not covered if the DB is atleast 7 steps behind him, gotta take air time into account, and the fact that defensive players run a bit faster when the ball is in the air. I’ve thrown bombs in which my receiver was 10 yards ahead of the DB but the DB turns into flash and leaps 30 feet into the air to cut the ball off. The animations are just quirky man, my stats for this H2H season are 50k yards through the air and about 10k given up through the air. I can ball. But this game just has so many scripted animations. If I throw the ball to Davante Adams in single coverage on the DBs back shoulder , it should end in a guaranteed reception.. not him catching the ball and then finally getting it deflected once he’s hit the ground. It’s just a lot of bullshit with Madden 22.

Good video. I hate playing against other people online. All of the adjustments and things I have to do to stop whatever this week’s favorite glitch play is, just becomes so redundant and it’s like I’m not even playing a game anymore. It’s so boring after a while. And then playing the computer is boring too. I swear I’m never gonna buy this game again. I can’t believe how much time I’ve wasted trying to get good at this game and yet I never realized I wasn’t having fun. In order to be competitive you have to make the dumbest adjustments and run defenses that aren’t anything like real football. The double mable bs? Omg! It’s just gotten so stupid at this point. Is there really no defensive call in any playbook that I don’t have to adjust every single position as quickly as possible before the snap? Is that how this game is supposed to work? And MUT get worse as the season goes on and the player’s ratings get ridiculous. And you’re basically playing the same players every time. Everyone runs the same plays with the same players. It’s just so gay.

Aggressive catch is so useless in this game it's pretty much only used for preventing ints when you make a bad pass

I use it often on intermediate passes over a LB and underneath saftetys. I throw a high pass ( so it can’t get lurked) and normally the only way your receiver catches it is an aggressive catch. If you have space it will work. You just need enough time to get the receiver’s feet on the ground.

A lob is exactly what it sounds like. Getting the most air under the ball and leading your wr the most of any pass. Should have an arc like a rainbow. A touch pass is in between a bullet and a lob. Its not as high but not a straight line laser either. For getting over lbs and underneath safeties.
