One celestial event after the other. Many blessings, if only we behold. The fifth rider...

Consider Templar artwork that depicted two riders on one horse. Versus an ancient ivory pyx found in the ruins of a 5th century church in Austria depicting a chariot drawn by two horses bearing a solo person, presumably Christ, heavenward.

@@MarciaStockton interesting thought exercise, im not familiar with either work so thanks for sharing. If I had to consider these two works in relation to eachother, with the little knowledge I have, I'd say the 2 individuals, the pious monk and the ferocious warrior, would weigh heavier on the one horse than the Christ would, who was in a symbolic sense, both a warrior and a pious monk in one. The marriage of opposites, then, lifts one up with double the energy, or in this case, two horses. Or perhaps approaching it from another perspective, when one becomes aware of both the inner warrior and monk one can find clear direction on one horse as opposed to where we are unaware and thus being driven by two horses who might obstruct one another or lead us in different directions... oh the relentless ambiguity of our mind lol ...

@@Faedran Great food for thought! Symbolism often takes the mind outside its circumference..

@@MarciaStockton Thank you Marcia! Really shows it makes you happy, your art is like musical incense, truely an inspiration, thank you!!
I was pleased when Thomas selected Maxfield Parrish for this video. I've always loved his use of light and color. He was an innovator who became a genre of one. I don't know of any other artist who surpasses his fresh insight into the shapes and forms of nature - craggy mountains, clouds, twisted mature trees, swirling water, people in natural poses.

That's right Julia! Thomas has sort of a music conveyor belt in his mind that's always going. And, as you know, Thomas has a MONUMENTAL work ethic.

So dramatic! No wonder you can't sleep.

Thomas was lead arranger on this piece. After our initial orchestration, Thomas then added little instrumental touches all over the place, timpani, trumpet, oboe, plucked bass, that produced the dramatic sound you noticed. He's a master!
