This song has a special place in my heart. Three months ago my 47-year-old aunt was at home dying of cancer, and on her last night with us, my family watched A Star is Born. When this song played she sighed. She passed that morning. Having my favorite singer sing this particular song has a lot of meaning to me.

Technically she sung this song with difficult ways. The original song already powerful with the high notes in it but Floor Jansen playing those notes emotionally, improving with her styles and tecniques which is makes it harder than it looks. Floor Jansen is something else and never stop amaze me.

I would love to see the final episode of this show have all the singers do one-two of their own songs. For two reasons: 1, I think it would be cool to after hearing all the singers go out of their comfort zones to sing for another person hear them in their 'natural habitat', and 2, so our dear Dutch Valkyrie can let loose for an audience that, by their own admission, most of them were unfamiliar with her work before this show.

Floor always kills it, she is amazing and sooo consistent. But Ruben stole the show for me that episode, he was so surprisingly impressive. What a storyteller! And the rest of the people on those couches.... Mind was blown! An light operatic version of Despacito from Henk Poort - I mean, come on, who would have expected that xD - and a Spanish (it was Spanish, right?) festive version of a Celine Dion song by Rolf Sanchez. This episode was such a treat! And in my humble opinion, Samantha Steenwijk can quite keep up with Floor. ^^ I love that tv-show and am always amazed at how many skilled and wonderful musicians are out there. :)

Emma is a KZbin cover artist so they had to do covers from covers. And boy there were a lot good ones this time. Henk did Despacito from Luis Fonsi, Ruben did Can't help falling in love from Elvis, Tim did Let me love you from Justin Bieber, Rolf did a spanish version of That's the way it is from Celine Dion. Samantha actually did one from a musical were emma starred in with her mother. And her mother sang that song to her in that musical. It's called Geloof in Jezelf (Believe in Yourself)

Hello Heath, I have been binging your video's today, mostly Floor's and I have really been enjoying myself, your joy is really contagious, so off course I subscribed!! After some looking around at you other video's and hearing you talk about your music preferences, I feel like it is high time to introduce you two other dutch metal goddesses, just like Floor. For your viewing convenience in a duet they did a while ago. It is a lower tempo song, but I truly believe you are going to love it.
