Kai and Yeonjun do the pinky promise sign, meaning that they're the only ones keeping the promise they made, still having fun and all, not aware of what's going on in the friend group. They're innocent and naive, as Yeonjun starts the fires and commits terrible things by mistake; every time he joins Boemgyu into having fun he ends up doing something bad. Boemgyu on the other hand makes the horns sign in the choreography: he's the traitor, corrupted by Soobin (aka the cat) into breaking the group apart, the one who breaks the promise and stays in disguise while causing problems. He's always making sure that Yeonjun follows him creating problems. _Boemgyu is the one taking everyone to Soobin's house and ringing the doorbell, he was invited by Soobin _Boemgyu wants cookies (he's the only one shown biting into one) > Yeonjun makes cookies leaving the oven turned on, causing the fire _Boemgyu starts the fruit fights (blending strawberries, throwing the first tomato and throwing jam at Taehyun) > Yeonjun goes on the table, joins the fruit fights and realizes he's taken them too far only when it's too late _Boemgyu goes on the bed > Yeonjun follows him leaving a dirty shoe mark on the sheets _Beomgyu is wearing a shirt with a smile on, he's aware and happy of the results he's achieved and is happy in the tomato mess on the floor _Boemgyu tries to kill Taehyun because he found out about what he and Soobin are really doing _Boemgyu is aware of everything, he even looks at the camera when everybody is watching TV. He's enjoying the disaster he's caused (the red screen), eating chips. Soobin (aka the cat) might have taken control over Boemgyu, the camera even focuses on his eye

omg okay so you guys know how in BTS save me webtoon, Jin goes to the beach when he finds out everything has went wrong? It then says he heard a voice telling him that “if he could, would he turn back time to fix everything?”. when the comic zooms out, we see a white cat. it’s the only thing with him at the beach. we never see the front of the cat though. BUT in a seokjin toy/merchandise, he’s posing with a white cat, the tail similar to the one in the comic and we see the eyes of the cat and the cat eyes are blue and green just like the one that follows TXT. so we can assume that the cat at the beach gave Jin the power to travel to different timelines, to remember the past, and dreams and etc. we can also assume that the cat is the same one that follows txt but in different colors (but same color eyes). the cat is targeting both Jin and Soobin. Jin remembers the past timelines and is the only one who has to go through the hurt and the pain of remembering them. Soobin, unknowingly can dream of the past/future timelines and is aware of the fact that he’s alone and suffering. Both Jin and Soobin are aware of the fact that they’re, in some way, separated from the group or are different. But jin tries to help every other member with their problems and come together and tries to fix everything while Soobin goes another way and just doesn’t want to be the only one suffering in the end. either way, more problems always occur. just like BTS, TXT are together in the beginning, but end up separating. The cat then finds someone in the group to target, and gives them the power to dream about different timelines, or to travel to them which ultimately leaves that person lonely/suffering which forces them to try and fix things with the others but something always goes wrong. it’s a little messy but i think that soon, we’re going to be shown individual problems each txt member is going through. Even if it’s the same cat, the targets are taking different ways to fix things. unlike BTS, i think TXT is going to try and keep targeting who they think is a liar. soon hueningkai will find out about all of that and when he does, i feel like he’d be the worst one. meaning that when he finds out there’s a liar, or suspicious person, he’d attack them the worst than any txt member. i think yeonjun is going to break from the guilt and start blaming others as well.

I realized Im the nap of a star mv, they had unique characters and I think I know why. //Soobin- he has problems with hearing because that's something they can't give him. They don't listen to him. //Taehyun- has a problem with one eye because he is suspicious of soobin. Just like when a detective closes one eye to look at a magnifying glass. //Beomgyu- His shoulder has thorns showing how he is controlled by his shoulders on what to do. Brainwashed to believe Taehyun is the liar. //Hueningkai- He has wings because he is honest- he is not breaking their promise to stay together but his heart is broken because he feels alone since he's the only one with pure intentions within the friendship. //Yeonjun- He has horns believing that it's his fault this is all happening. He's the oldest after all and he broke the promise (as said in the video) Just a theory everyone probably know this already and im just mindlessly blabbering😂

Yeaa I noticed that when I first watched the video, when watching kai looked noticeably uncomfortable with what's going on but I also noticed under the ice cream there was, what I think is, red velvet cake (great choice btw, if not for the theory, it's for the flavor lol) and I think it was chosen to match the red theme that had been going on (with the tomatoes and strawberries), maybe it also has something to do with beomgyu because of that 🤔 maybe beomgyu is starting to try to manipulate kai like he did yeonjun idk, bc there wasnt much that happened with kai, the red velvet matching the red theme which relates to beomgyu just really stuck out to me

@Lychee, Beomgyu could be seeing Taehyun trying to keep Kai innocent in all this as ruining their fun, and while being influenced by Soobin ends up resenting Taehyun for it. Kai meanwhile does see and notice that what he’s eating has red in it and still eats it. It could be him taking in all the flaws of his friends and choosing to believe in the good in them even while his heart is hurting. It’s just a thought but I could be wrong

Unrelated note: I feel like the star is the monster doll. It's their promise and friendship. Their flaws is put on the monster, their happiness is always with the monster, when Taehyun has it or Yeonjun. When the promise was made, it created a doll like a object to remind their promise. But when the star fell asleep, the doll starts to take in the boys flaws, the star and the monster doll has something connecting them and it's the promise. The monster doll is kind of like the star? What's inflicted on them goes to the monster and then the star, their promise. Their fears, flaws and weaknesses ( Soobins ears, Taehyuns eye, Heuningkais heart, Beomgyu's shoulder and Yeonjuns neck) are hurting and pulling apart the group and the promise. In can't you see me, the bear isn't there, so maybe their promise was left behind and the cat finally takes over them. (This is a copy paste of my comment on another video, I talk more about the cat in that comment so I didn't add it in this comment) Edit: You and Bookish theories should collaborate with each other! I think you can together can sew in the pieces quite nicely, both your theories sounds real when put together.

Earlier in the mv, Beomgyu covered Taehyun trying to suffocate him because he suspects him (or maybe Beomgyu was the liar and trying to kill Taehyun the detective to get rid of evidences and the witness) And in the choreo everyone leans toward Beomgyu and in the lyrics he said *"I resent you a lot."* And Taehyun controlled Kai and used him to replied that it's *"because you don't understand me."* And Kai seems to lose his mind because everyone is controlling him and he don't know who to believe anymore. And next is Soobin, it seems like he's telling Kai to look at him, understand him, and stay by his side (bcoz he forced kai to look at him in the Choreo) and the lyrics were *"Please stop the resentment."* And if you notice it all from the concept trailer, Soobin was saying "Save Me." Save me from this resentment, Please believe me. Why am I left alone again? Why can't you see me? And there's Yeonjun who seemed to start the fire or the resentment or the problem. Idk. So.. Who's the liar among them? I'm losing my mind too trying to understand it all to be honest.

I have some theories too, _In the chorus it says “My heart incinerated, come and feel me feel me” I think it’s like a way of saying come and feel my pain_ _In the same part incinerated means to destroy (something, especially waste material) by burning it. So they have somehow burned the heart, maybe along with the house. Maybe as to why Hueningkai’s heart was in pain in Nap Of A Star. _Since Yeonjun is saying the line “Bad bad hope it’s just a painful dream” I think it is directed towards his guilt, to what he has done in the past music videos. He is hoping that he didn’t actually do that to his friends (TXT) in real life, hoping it is just some nightmare.

This is most likely just a coincidence, but Soobin's situation reminded me of something in Harry Potter. In the 5th book, Harry is lonely and suffering at the Dursleys' bc he doesn't get any information from Ron and Hermione. So he sends Hedwig to them and tells her to peck them until they give. When he sees them at Grimmauld Place, he notices that they have deep gashes on their hands from Hedwig's pecking and realizes he doesn't feel sorry at all. I just realized that Soobin is the only member during this era that does not have beads on him (Yeonjun has it on his hoodie strings, Beomgyu and Taehyun have necklaces, and Hueningkai has both a bracelet and necklace). I feel like these are glass beads, which connects to GFRIEND as well. I sort of have a theory that Soobin doesn't have glass beads because he's been taken over by the cat. I'm not too sure.

Became a MOA just March of this year. I just heard this song last night and I'm addicted. I've watched most vids about CYSM (including performance videos, bts, award shows, and theories) and would like to share some of what I noticed. 1. Starting from 0:23 - Gyu and Yeonjun are the only two that looks kind of guilty. Kai - grieving sad Taehyun - emotionless, suspicious Soobin - looks done and gave up 2. It's already given that Soobin and Taehyun are the liars (if you base it on their crossed fingers), the reason I guess why Gyu and Yeonjun resents them. 3. The scene on the sofa when Kai took some photos, only Gyu and Yeonjun are smiling. The other two are on the floor, all serious. 4. Notice how they kill the other characters (or ended their friendship). Gyu ate the cookie and bite its "head" off - look what he did to Taehyun. He covered his head with a blanket. Yeonjun, on the other hand, is the one who used the oven to bake - fire started inside the house on the scene where he checked his hand and saw the other members. 5. There are 2 types of liar friends based on the "lips" scene. The smiling lips are not Soobins *I paused it a dozen more times to check*, the screaming one is. **More on this on #6. One lies to fool and/or manipulate (smiling) while the other one lies that he's okay eventhough he wants to be closer to his friends (screaming) *which is also based on their Eternity concept trailer. 6. Soooo... I mentioned above that the smiling lips aren't Soobins. I'm guessing it's either Taehyun or *gasp* Yeonjun. Okay, hear me out.. 6a. As mentioned on #5, a person can lie to fool and/or manipulate other people. I'm guessing Taehyun are fooling his friends into thinking he wants their company when it's clearly not (he never smiled in the video), and Yeonjun's the manipulative one letting his friends feel everythings fine when in fact he has other plans *the ssssh scene in the oven*. 6b. On the first liar line of Soobin, notice how Yeonjun peeked through. Co-incidence? Maybe. Maybe not. 6c. Some of you might ask "Why Yeonjun? His hand gesture on the liar line is a pinky swear and not a crossed finger". Well, that is true.. however, not everyone can keep their promises. Friendships are not all roses, sometimes it ends in a one big mess. You may also check the bridge lyrics. S: Bad bad hope it’s just a painful dream Y: Sad sad return me to your side again 6d. Yeonjun crying alone in the bed covered with the blanket, with his friends surrounding him. He's guilty on something he did. In the process of trying to hurt Soobin, he hurt his other friends too and lose them all. *Check YJ line again from the bridge above*. Again it could be Taehyun or Yeonjun or both - aside from Soobin, being the liar. Just curious at the end, there are only 4. Soobin is not shown. Maybe he completely cut-off his friendship with the other 4, staying inside the burning house (ashes of their friendship as per the song). This is the reality of some friendships, it's messy all around. WDYT?

beomgyu is such an interesting character he is the 3rd youngest and 3rd oldest, his colour in the debut photos was orange. orange is the middle of red and yellow yellow is usually a colour that we use to represent happiness and peace, while red is usually a colour that we use to represent anger and chaos. in the cysm m/v, he is either seen very happy, or very not, one moment he was having fun with the strawberries, the next he’s trying to kill taehyun. him being the middle member in the age means that he’s in the hyung line and the maknae line. this could also mean that he can be both mature and cute. i think that the whole +u is actually two different stories. yeonjun supposedly broke the rules in magic island, by opening his eyes. txt is constantly relating to games, you know the board game operation? where if you touch the sides the buzzer sounds? when yeonjun opened his eyes, i think that triggered the star, as long as you close your eyes, the star stays on. when the star ‘turned off’, the witch came out pretty much straight away, the witch is like the buzzer sounding. when yeonjun found himself dead in the ruined stadium, it was literally dark and there wasn’t much colour in the scene. the witch is also very dark. but when taehyun found him, his throat was slit and purple blood was coming out of his cut. the witch and the cat are pretty much the same thing. in the scene in naos when the cat and yeonjun met, his horns gave the cat a sort of smile. what cat smiles and is purple? the cheshire cat the cheshire cat is a character in alice in wonderland, this relates to taehyun’s section in eternally, where there was supposedly a reference to the gossiping flowers. the cheshire cat has the ability to time travel, it smiles then disappears and reappears somewhere else. the whole +u is about time travel. back to there being two different stories in +u, yeonjun dies in two different ways beomgyu fights both soobin and taehyun kai is in two completely different times, one as a child and one as now soobin is in both worlds, his dream being one world and the practice room in eternally being the other but what’s taehyuns? beomgyu fights taehyun in one world, taehyun is one of the only members without stripes on their sleeve, we saw that the person had no stripes on their sleeve for a split second in eternally. taehyun’s morse code is ‘clue’, he can be seen as sort of nosy, he’s the detective, always finding out everything. taehyun wanted to know what’s in the book beomgyu has, but he got upset and his wings/spikes came out. in the choreography for cysm, taehyun is one of the liars because we can see he crosses his fingers in soobins line ‘who’s a liar?’. beomgyu and taehyun are always fighting, beomgyu always being the one who attacks first though. in another world, soobin fights beomgyu, i think this because he ends up with the same book beomgyu had been protecting. in the practice room in eternally, beomgyu films soobin a lot, only soobin, i don’t think he ever films him when he’s with the other members. soobin is also one of the liars in cysm choreo, he also crosses his fingers. i think beomgyu could know that taehyung and soobin are both liars, because with yeonjun and kai, he’s very friendly. in naos when the star goes out, you’ll see the witch come, but you will also see a butterfly flying around. beomgyu’s animal for the questioning things was a butterfly. coincidence?

At 4:30 she talks about the choreo containing clues with the fingers crossed gesture so I wanted to point this out. At the end of the dance, when Yeonjun shhs the lines saying "friends don't understand me" Yeonjun, Kai and Beomgyu look up at each other, but Taehyun and Soobin, the "liars" both look down, like they feel guilty or scolded. I checked out a bunch of performances to see if it was a fluke, but they do it the same every time. It may just be an aesthetic choice for the dance, but it's something I noticed and thought it was neat, and went along well with the theory!

a little late to comment but i read the comments and with the help of some of my theory's i think that in cant you see me the cat has full control over them and that the lairs kinda know what is happening. also i feel like beomgyu is doing all this and is happy about it. but i dont think he is doing it on purpose . he might be controlled (or not). huening kai is probable the innocent one that is gullible and does not know a thing. soobin knows what is happening and is probable the cats target. were as yeonjun i think he is controled by soobin (aka maybe the cat) in to doing bad things just like what beomgyu is doing but realizes its bad a little too late. also in run away when soobin is drawing on the white baord it has multiple drawings of cats and also says forever . the baord also has a flower which you also see in eternally . you also see those tall trees in magic island and the fire. there is also that doll thing drawn on the baord. and last there is a star drawn on the baord which maybe is the star in nap of the star.
