wait omg what if since he believes his role is solely the bandaid of the group, he thinks he wont be needed anymore when there arent any problems? his pain is his shoulders bc he keeps carrying their burdens, believing he should fix their problems. if there arent any problems however, his purpose in the group is gone, resulting to him believing he’s just an extra. so with that fear in mind, what if he purposely creates chaos among them? that could explain why he‘s so complicated, fixing problems but then creating more. maybe he first started realizing all this during run away, when he couldn’t extinguish the fire. if i’m not mistaken, the first time he actually created a problem was during magic island..? when he threw the fire he held, resulting to the forest fire.

I feel like Beomgyu is the certified wild card in all the time lines. He reminds me of a neutral character who isn't always on the good or bad side but does his own agenda kinda like the cat except he's more involved. His character seems very unpredictable so he probably will end up being a villain in one time line but I do hope that he ends up good in the good ending.

*my theory:* beomgyu is the band aid of the group because he wants to fit in. in drama mv, he felt that he's not acknowledged by other members. he felt that he's just an extra to the group so he's doing his best to protect the protagonist (which is i believe that is yeonjun). in run away mv, when yeonjun started a fire, beomgyu is the one who stopped it using a fire extinguisher. when yeonjun got hurt, ge is the one who puts a band aid to yeonjun's scar. it seems like he's protecting yeonjun because maybe he thinks that if he got close to the protagonist, his other friends will acknowledge him. but ofc that's not what happened because if u can see in can't you see me mv, he let his pain eat him that's why he ended up suffocating taehyun. his pain. his pain is his shoulder. is it because he's trying to lift the group on his shoulders so that they can see him? i saw a twt where an op said that in cysm mv, taehyun threw a pillow to beomgyu and it landed on beomgyu's shoulder, which is his pain, before beomgyu suffocated taehyun. so maybe everytime he realises that he's just an extra who lifts his friends on his shoulders even tho they don't see him, he's becoming wild. i dunno anymore. my head hurts already ugh.

@NURUL IMAN BINTI NASRUL IZANI Moe maybe they are feeling pain because of the pact they made with the cat. i'm guessing that every member in txt will make a deal with that creature. soobin wants to be with his friends forever but things are not well. they are together but every timeline, atleast one of them suffers so yeonjun also made a pact. yeonjun wishes to save his friends, but his death will be the consequence. i bet beomgyu also made a deal with the cat. maybe he wishes to fit in their group. he wish to be acknowledge by his friends but in return, if he gets closer to yeonjun, one member will feel left out. why? look at run away mv. in drama mv, beomgyu is the one who felt that he don't belong to the group. in run away mv, beomgyu got close to yeonjun but soobin is the one who's left out. same as in magic island mv, soobin is the one who is left out and beomgyu is the one who is close to the group.

"once again i'm left out" - soobin's line when yeonjun and beomgyu are playing, you can notice that soobin is irritated/jealous. yeonjun, beomgyu, and hueningkai are the only one who's playing and are happy. then what about soobin and taehyun? note the pact that beomgyu made with the cat. if beomgyu got close to one member, one member will replace him for being left out. but as you can see in the music video, beomgyu is close to yeonjun and hueningkai so i believe that also two members will feel left out. in conclusion, beomgyu, yeonjun, and hueningkai are the closest in cysm while taehyun and soobin are the one who felt left out.

I think, however, that Soobin is still the original villain of this story. Remember how Soobin was the one who was pushing the pink lemonade glass off the bed in Can't you See Me, which instantly transitioned to him pushing Beomgyu off the bed? Maybe Beomgyu was already feeling distant in Drama, but when Soobin started feeling distant, he used Beomgyu's feelings in Drama to manipulate him in Can't you See Me and attack his friends.

Maybe the different colored jackets have a deeper meaning; for example, many times an antagonist's fall and/or step into being an antagonist is shown through color symbolism, with red being a bright color that can still symbolize anger or negative emotions. In Drama, he doesn't yet seem like a true antagonist, but is showing signs of such. Black is almost always used to symbolize negative emotions such as anger or grief, and is also often used to distinguish the 'villain'. Just an interesting thing to think about, your videos always keep me thinking!

I dont know if Beomgyu is becoming an antagonist (intentionally). He definitely has a dark side that he is trying to keep down. I think Drama is Beomgyus origin story. He feels like an extra in this amazing group of people but I think he genuinely cares for them (especially Yeonjun)! He put it upon himself to become the bandaid and protect them. Maybe he even accepted that he isnt the main character and he is doing what he can to lift the main characters up and support them, but there is still deep seeded resentment within him that he himself may not even recognize. His pain is weighing on him and sooner or later hes going to snap

This is just going to be a note for myself (I like studying these theories and song meanings like I am about to be graded on it): Drama is basically the origin story of Beomgyu's character starting to confront his "blackening" otherwise known as his shadow. His shadow deals with him trying to get closer to Yeonjun's character by messing with the other member's. Beomgyu often puts a ton of effort to take care of his friends but he feels as if they don't do a good job of taking care of him. If he continues to go down this path fueled by jealousy, he ends up dealing with the "bad ending." The only way to beat this outcome is if all of the boys confront their shadows.

My jacket theory! 1) Drama and Eternally are on different timelines so the jackets are different colors to show that but the same style to link the two and/or show what happens in one video (albeit different timeline) affects another. 2) Red and black have similar negative connotations, especially with villains. The red jacket could symbolize his raw jealousy, almost in a passionate way maybe? While the black jacket is more cold, numb. If he really did fight Kai, who is already the 'pure, innocent' one of the group; did he feel numb, or apathetic towards him? 2.5) Same colors, different meanings? While he was mad in drama, he was still feeling something. In that future scene in eternally, black could be used to show he was feeling nothing. (Ik this is dark) like red might mean he is feeling something negative, but black means he is feeling nothing. Black is less A color and more devoid of color so,,,, maybe?

I don't actually think that Beomgyu is the antagonist. here are my theory: THEORY No. 1 I hope people know the story of the snow queen. So a mirror* that shows the flaws in people shatters near the clouds, making little pieces go everywhere. some lodge in people's eyes so they only see the flaws in people, but also cause *jealousy*, lack of trust, and stuff like that. Maybe (low chance but I read way to many dark fairy tales as a child) Beomgyu got one in his shoulder, causing him not to trust others with the weight of everything, Taehyun got one in his eye, Yeonjun in his head (ok this is not a joke the mirror also muddles decisions aka DEALS WITH CATS), Soobin in his ears, and Hueningkai in his heart. The fact that Hueningkai got on in his heart is important. In the story, the main character gets it in his eye, not his heart. I don't remember what happens if you have one in your heart. All I know is that it's BAD. *yes, people, a mirror

I have a darker theory. I've heard about Beomgyu changing places with Soobin. We wanted to be a protagonist, like Yeonjun and Soobin. In that way, he took Soobin's place (by a deal with the cat or something).That's the reason of a scene in the video that looks pretty similar to the concept trailer, and also in Run Away Beomgyu and Yeonjun look very close. Maybe Beomgyu caused Soobin being ignored. In that case, while Beomgyu is closer to Yeonjun, Soobin is being more ignored. Sorry for my English, I'm still learning 🐰

Before your theory came out, I actually thought that maybe Drama is showing us what Beomgyu sees when they are all being separated. Like how in the Eternity concept trailer, Soobin was not being heard, the Drama music video shows how Beomgyu is being ignored. But your theory also really does make sense. Another thought that I had was that IF the cat is trying to help them, what if it is putting the boys through these visions because it is trying to help them realize what they need to fix in their friendship to keep them together? For example, Beomgyu needs to also allow the others to care for him, or else they will end up ignoring him. If the cat is somewhat helping Jin, maybe it is helping TXT as well? But I'm not sure about literally anything because... BigHit.

I have a little theory that's not really related to drama but this is the latest video so... anyway, I was watching the run away mv, and I think that hueningkai drawing two lines with different colors might mean something... what I mean is, we know that it seems that he's the one who rewinds time, right? so what if those two lines represent two timelines? I'm saying this because I feel like being able to rewind time might also imply different timelines and scenarios cause you'regoing back in time. Imagine you're drawing a line (timeline) and you go back (for whatever reason; this symbolizes going back in time) but you never stop pressing the paper onto the paper (idk how to say this, English isn't my native language), when you continue drawing, that line is bound to end up different, you can't possibly draw the exact same line because you would have to do it perfectly. the same applies to going back in time so hyuka is drawing to lines that probably represent the two parallel timelines, and I think he might know something if that's the case, or even if it's something different but if it means something, then it's likely that all they did at the begginning is important and represents something to me it seems that hyuka is drawing both timelines and trying to figure iyt something, what do you think? this might be totally wrong cuz I just thought about that as I finished watching the mv (watching the almost last scenes where they are playing with the fireworks), so i'm sorry for redaction mistakes and such as well

I just realized something else, maybe beomgyu kicking the ball means something, I think it might be that he started something in a way, or was the reason of something im not sure another thing I realized, (i don't know if this has been mentioned before) on soobin's drawing, you can see how he separated soobin and taehyun, from hueningkai, beomgyu and yeonjun (it's written in hangul) and I find that interesting because (if i'm not wrong; please correct me if i am) it IS after all taehyun and soobin the liars (according to the cysm choreo)

What if the jacket in the Eternally MV is black because Beomgyu embraced his shadow? Shadows are dark/black, so maybe that's the case? Also it might not mean that he's completely evil but he might be using the shadow to make himself seem stronger/more threatening, since he seems to be fighting with one of the members over the book. That might also explain his spikes being bigger. Speaking about Gyu's spikes being bigger in Eternally, I feel like the boys' pain comes out if they're feeling an intense emotion. But they look different depending on what type of emotion it is. Idk I'm still learning when it comes to the theory making lol
