Crazy that you can get this with the solar panel for $100 less than just the battery box right now. I didn't know this existed but damn do I want it.

I got the expansion battery which will extend my run time and also cut down on the number of cycles for charging. Never getting below 50% using both batteries should give me 6000 cycles 👍

I love Anker. And this thing looks solid. We live in Portland and have a Bronco too. 😊 We're planning our major trip to Utah in May. Doing Sand Hollow/Zion for a few days, then over to Moab for a few days, then taking part of the Utah BDR on the way home. We're also doing Overland Expo PNW this year for the first time. Hoping this sale lasts until my work bonus comes in, cuz I'd love to add this to our kit. Great video as always. Long time watcher/subscriber.

Nice trick: plug EcoFlow Glacier AC adapter into bronco's inverter port, plug XT60 connector into your battery's solar charging port (or fridge) and boom, 200 watts of charging

I used this Solis C1000 with the ICECO VL35S Pro driving back from Colorado to Virginia and it only lasted 18 hours or so at 38 degrees. I plugged it into the car socket and charged everything back up to 100 percent during the long drive to the next hotel and left them together overnight again.....the next morning or 12 hours or so later and the Solis C1000 was at 38 percent left. Not sure what I am doing wrong with these devices. It was hot 80/90s but I didn't get near the same output. Ill email the companies and see.

This is great and all, but without knowing exactly what you charged over three days it really doesn't give me an idea of how it will work in my world. Nice to know it works for you, but I still have no idea how it will hold up in my world. If I knew what you charged I could say well the first thing he charged is like my laptop and the second thing he charged is like my portable projector, etc. Charged camera batteries... ok great. Two batteries? Nine batteries? Fridge running the whole time... what fridge? How much power does it use? I just have no info other than you charged some batteries and kept the beer cold.

I must've gotten a dud - mine dies just 4 hours or so of running my gaming PC. $700 down the drain...
@OFFTHEGRIND4 ай бұрын
Please let this be a joke…
@StefanoKlironomos4 ай бұрын
@@OFFTHEGRIND unfortunately not - here is their explanation: Anker customer service = my PC draws about 280 watts an hour so their logic: 1000Kwh divided by 280 so their unit "outperformed" by lasting 4 hours...
@OFFTHEGRIND4 ай бұрын
And they’re 100% correct. Not sure what the confusion is here, this is super basic math
@StefanoKlironomos4 ай бұрын
@@OFFTHEGRIND no confusion on that - just that it is painted on KZbin Chanels like the second coming of portable batteries - "it will run your fridge", "your washer", "your oven"... yeah, for 5 minutes...
@OFFTHEGRIND4 ай бұрын
@@StefanoKlironomos it’s a 1056 watt hour battery. That divided but whatever the appliance draw equals the amount of hours you can use it. So if your pc pulls 250w, then yeah it’ll only run it for 4 hours. In this video I ran my fridge. It only draws when the compressor is on which it is not constantly running. When it is it pulls 60 watts so yeah I got three days out of it. Thought I was pretty clear about all that
