This looks like a very good product. The demo of the 'instant' switchover to the computer was excellent. Perhaps you could include a demo of the Anker running an electric kettle, air fryer, microwave, electric drill, etc. Even two at the same time. This is the type of thing it's made for

That’s a fair point. I tested the inverter with max load but didn’t do any loads with potential inrush current. To be honest, I’m not a power tool guy 😊 and don’t have many to hand but I can absolutely try to do some testing through other means. Kettle and microwave, I can manage 👍🏻

I was dead set on an Ecoflow unit but after watching this, I am going with this unit. I like Anker and it'll do exactly what I need during a power outage and that is to power my fridge for about 9-10 hours whIle I'm at work. I like the simplicity of this unit over the Ecoflow too. My plan is to get a Victron pure sine DC to AC inverter for my truck and use it to recharge the unit overnight at a limited charge wattage of 400w. So essentially I can leave my truck at idle and run a properly sized cord inside to charge the unit from the truck. Thumbs up and thanks for the video. Well done!

I bought this as an uninterrupted power supply for my cpap. I am super impressed as if you kill the mains power you cannot tell as there is no loss of performance. I also researched as I want to use it for off grid in my camper. Whilst my camper is off grid with 12v and gas I prefer elec kettle and hob plus blowing up paddle boards and charging 101 devices. Super impressed with it so far and it was competitively priced from Costco. Can’t wait on get more use out of it during the summer. For me there is no direct competitor in that price bracket at the moment.

For AC UPS mode on the C1000: if the battery depletes completely in a prolonged outage, do the AC output ports start working again as soon as AC input power returns? Or, as the manual suggests, do you have to manually press a button to re-enable the AC output, making it basically useless as an unattended UPS? Thanks!

Hi I have just bought the C1000x and was wondering about the earthing of appliances on 240v , I want to use this in a campervan , also is there a built in RCD inside the solix ! Great video , many Thanks.

Nice review, but is it something to keep at home for a powercut backup situation, or should I get the f2(6)000 a nd save up for an add on battery for that. And no it doesnt matter what it looks like. It needs to work. I see a lot of refurbished bluetti so I steer away from them, there is a reason they are factory refurbished I guess. I am aiming at a January no sales promo.

Great video mate. I'm wondering why have you calculated the RTE by adding the reported capacity into the power in and out? RTE = power out / power in which would be 954Wh / 1225 Wh x 100 = 77.9%. To calculate the usable capacity = 954 Wh / 1056 Wh x 100 = 90%

I already own the F1200 and the F2000 (with BP2000). Ordered the C1000 (with BP1000). I will also use the C1000 for camping because of its low weight. In my home situation I use them for power storage on location when the fixed solar panels on the house roof provide energy (Kitchen, smartTV & PC and my home sound studio). I use the Ankers if the panels do not supply or do not provide sufficient power, to make coffee in the kitchen with the F1200 (which does not have an app) or to use the microwave or air fryer in the evening. Now I want them to only charge (ups function) when the panels supply power (the cheap power hours). To arrange that I would have to use an external timer, but what could be better than Anker integrating that into the software and adjusting the wattages per hour.

I have started using the Solix 522 as an ups in my home office. It is working fine so far, but one gripe I have is that the 522 turns off power to its ac ports after I power off my system for the day. I have to hit the button on the device to re-enable the ac plugs. This seems to happen when I’m not drawing power (and I think you could argue it is not a bad feature). Does the Solix C1000 do the same? Unlike the C1000, the 522 does not have an app - so no remote control. This could be an issue if I needed access to something and was not home.

I have this Anker C1000 with the expansion battery and I like the size and weight for easy portability unlike the Bluetti AC200P I also have👍I’m a fan now of the Anker brand of products!

Thanks very much for posting such a thorough review the detail that you went into was really useful. You mentioned the solar input was 600W is is about 60% of the 1kWh better capacity, I think of that like if you were charging it using a 600W solar supply it would be 60% charged in an hour (600Wh) and 100% in 100 minutes. Thanks again, I'll definitely be ordering one now and your review really helped to make a well informed decision.

I think the Anker solix c1000 really hits the sweet spot for these power stations. If they want to send me one for review (and the add on battery) that would be very handy! I have bought the Anker Powerhouse 555 and you are right, the size and weight is about right at 12-13kg. The 555 is limited to 1000 watts and I know that the c1000's 1800 watts would power everything i need except the kettle and you could get a travel or caravan kettle if that was an issue. On the noise side the 555 is very quiet never seeming to make more than a low rumble and often completely silent. When it comes to the % capacity i think the power stations measure watts vs VA so devices with bad power factor (fighting the inverter essentially) can throw off the estimated capacity reading.

Hi - you mentioned a low self discharge or drain on standing with everything switched off. Do you actually have a figure for this? Eg 1% drop per week? 2%? Etc Thank you
@tdcattech8 ай бұрын
Sorry, no. It was more of a quick observation. Using AllPowers and EcoFlow products, they can lose a few percent each day (more in some cases) where the Anker was still sat on 100%.

How long can you game on the pc with the solix?
@MrEcted3 ай бұрын
That entirely depends on your rig and how much power it draws, then it’s just simple math. This unit will roughly run 1K watts for an hour, so if you’re using a high end gaming PC that’s pulling 500 watts, then that’s about 2 hours. Something like an M1 Mac Mini (yes very obviously not a high end gaming PC) pulls maybe 30-50, so you could run for about 20 hours. This wouldn’t include the monitor and other peripherals (many monitors can be quite efficient though).

These aren’t reviews they are commercials. In saying that I purchased this when all of the KZbin videos were trying to push the discount code that ya didn’t even need to get the discount.
@tdcattech8 ай бұрын
Why would a commercial talk about bad aspects of a product? All these videos are exposure and free user testing and research for Anker but there are many videos I’ve done which are most certainly not commercials. I’m looking at an Allpowers R1500 at the moment. I don’t think the review will help sell products.

You're getting this device from anker? Why don't you tell us how much energy is in the device? Is that too much to ask of them in their promotional materials on Amazon and other places? It's a little confusing but I'm not an idiot. We all go to Amazon or their materials we all know exactly what the rating is and all the specifications are but what we do not know is how much energy is actually in the unit. Because they won't tell us that because they are greedy capitalist pigs. So that would be something helpful to know.
@cosmicnebula30238 күн бұрын
It's clearly stated on their site and on amazon listings. It's 1056Wh. This is also mentioned within the first minute of the video. I don't think this has anything to do with "capitalist pigs"

I just got my Anker solix c1000 and it would not work. It turns on, but THE USB and AC outlets do not work. I'm sending back this piece of junk and buying a Ecoflow River Pro.
@rileyhance3182 ай бұрын
I would not buy any 1st gen ecoflow products as they dont use the newer iron phosphate lithium batteries so they wont have the 10 year lifespan. They only switched to those batteries on the river and delta 2. And they dont have a real ups feature until the 3rd generation. 30ms on river and delta 2 isnt fast enough for a computer to stay on
@cosmicnebula30238 күн бұрын
Getting a unit DOA isn't exclusive to this product and can happen with anything. You didn't really say anything here. If this happened like 3 times in a row, I'd understand, but based on this comment, it's a single purchase. A sample size of one is not enough to determine the quality of the entire lot.

i bought i dont like it. wanna bluetti, bluetti more universal and capable for more. only one advantage in anker it is a smaller. but bluetti more made more smarter. from design corpus is closed on a bottoms open for verification only upper half part, the sockets higher, if in the car is mor convenient to use, on ground it is more far from ground, bluetti charging from ev stagion for cars, bluetti produce spetial adapter made especially for bluetti power stations. anker theoretically can use similar but it isn't. anker less universal. for me anker it is almost useless.
@dtrout24 күн бұрын
I have had problems with my Bluetti with noise and shutting down power to my surfboard for unknown reasons at random times. Hopefully Anker will be more reliable as a UPS of sorts. Time will tell. Noise of the fan for the charging cord is louder than the fan in the unit itself. Bad design on the Bluetti charge system. Very annoying because the charger kicks on every few minutes.
