You should start adding a couple extra items for the raiders to find to make it more like an actual raid. TC is important, of course, but in real rust, you have to find the loot rooms to profit. Then you can say ah team A lost tc and 1 loot room but team B lost tc and all their loot so team A survives the raid.

My first thought is to disagree with this. Having a simple objective is straight forward. You shouldn't make an objective of getting loot rooms because at the end of the day it's the TC that matters. If both teams get raided, then it's the team that defended for the longest that should be considered the winner.

Here's a thought... From all the vids I've watched I agree - the first raid is almost always a mess. Its as if they need to warm up or something... So how about having your mods build a average base > both teams defend it together against the raiders so everybody warms up > and then the fun starts after. That way both raids should be fairly equal?

An hour is definitely good for building some people are fast some are slow, there's always more you can add to a base to help so even if you finish early go around double check maybe add something extra to help

i feel like there are quite a few variables that went into the second raid just being better for the raiders, for 1, they had the warm up, for 2, the second raid, they INSTANTLY had the height advantage that they didn't have in raid 1. This instantly gave them better peaks onto the defenders, allowed them to isolate angles a lot better, allowed them to get up a real raid base from the actual builder, they also went all together rather than splitting up, they all knew their roles in the raid on the second raid, example, were they holding, building, or rocketing. The US Base was better, The location for the UK team was better, the UK team had better decision making with pushing out and gaining ground, keeping one on roof while the other was ground level to be active, and it seemed like they had a bit better mechanics/aim than the US team did. I do not think "they didn't know how to raid the shit base" at the end of the day, it was a shit base, they just had a really shit attempt. Do you not give smokes to anyone? @MaxTwo or do these raiders/defenders never ask for them? I literally won't do raids with out them, and I only do online raids

You could test bases peeks by giving the raiders GL smokes, this lets the raiders hide some of the peeks, so the more peeks the better, also a more realistic raid for these sizes of base. No shame to the raiders but in the first raid they split up for some reason which let them be picked off and loot be stolen. Also them trying to FOB into the UK base sounds very modded. Its a vanilla raid cost base and yet they didn't focus on the fundamentals of the raid. I'm not sure if the raiders are a group outside of this event, but it didn't seem like they were in the first raid. Second raid the raiders were more organised but decided to raid from raid base which meant easy sealing for the defenders. Again a more modded style of raiding, or at least a style of raiding where you need more rockets than they had. The ideal raid team would be one that has played together before, high-ish individual hours, lots of experience in vanilla groups sizes 3-8. Finding this group is another story. Still a cool video
